  I was the general contractor for my forever home in the Villas and had a serious issue arise just two days before my masonry work was scheduled to begin — my original mason suddenly demanded more money at the last minute. With the project timeline at risk, I had to quickly find a replacement and properly vet the next contractor. That’s when I found South Jersey Construction Enterprise and connected with Mario. His 5.0-star reviews stood out, and now I understand exactly why. From the first conversation through completion, Mario was professional, honest, and completely true to his word. His communication was clear, his scheduling was reliable, and his workmanship was exceptional. The quality of the masonry and concrete work on both my house and detached garage exceeded expectations. Everything was done carefully, cleanly, and with real craftsmanship — not rushed, not cut-corner work. The highest compliment actually came from another contractor — a union drywall contractor with over 20 years of experience — who stopped and examined the garage. He asked who did the masonry work and said he wanted Mario’s contact information immediately. His exact comment was that the opposite walls measured perfectly the same and that the garage was truly square — something he said you rarely see anymore.   Mario did an excellent job, had great communication, was on time and I cannot thank him enough, I will recommend him to anyone that needs concrete work and will be calling him when I’m ready for concrete work in my backyard, you will not regret contacting Mario.

  Mario and his team built a large patio for my backyard. The whole experience working with Mario was great. He is very friendly and quick to respond to all my questions and concerns. On the day of the job they showed up on time and worked very quickly and finished a couple hours early. They did an excellent and professional job which is very noticeable during the work how experienced this team is. I am very happy with my new patio and look forward to hiring SJ Construction In the future for all my paving jobs. You will not regret hiring them!
