- SRSusan RosenbluthDec 9, 20254.0Nothing is inexpensive these days, but I always have the secure feeling we've been well taken care of when Muccia Plumbing comes and checks out whatever issues we have. This time it was a strange one: A few nights ago, out of the blue, we started hearing what sounded like a jackhammer rumbling in our basement, drilling down into the cement floor. Because it was so late, we called the police, who sent the fire department. They found the culprit: a basement toilet that wasn't filling properly. After turning it off, they told us to call our plumber. Muccia showed up and fixed it--something called the flapper needed to be replaced. Problem solved.
