  The Paramount Waterproofing team solved a problem with water in our basement that had existed for over a decade. The team only took a 1/2 day to resolve it and were extremely professional throughout. Afterwards I've called a couple times with questions and they've been very responsive. This is the company to use with any water problems. Thanks!

  I just had a French drain installed in my basement and it sounds like a toilet flushing every 30 seconds. I have a French drain in my other home that sounds nothing like that. I sent the owner a video of the main pump spraying water and making loud noises and he said it was normal. I then sent a video of the backup pump with the main pump unplugged and it made no loud sounds. I watched a video on YouTube stating that it could be one of two things. 1.) Air needs to be bled from the pipe or 2.) The pump was installed too low and should be raised 2” or so to reduce the frequency of the pumping and stop the pump from from clearing out all the water and making a loud spraying sound. When I asked about the possibility of changing the height of the pump I was greeted with resistance and told to give it a few weeks for the pump to regulate—not sure what that means. It sounded to me that the owner was not interested in my happiness with the job, so I told that he didn’t seem very interested in my customer satisfaction. All of a sudden his attitude changed. “When can we come over and check out the pump?”. As soon as I told him I would take care of the system myself his interest in my satisfaction. Mind you I had already paid for the system so any return to the home would be an inconvenience. I then restated that his crew moved a pipe from location and did not return the pipe at a 90 degree angle from the floor (see picture). Whe I brought this up to him on initial inspection he said ‘it still works’ when I said “it looks silly “ he had no response. Now that I told him not to bother he insisted he and his crew come over to check out the pump and fix the pipe. But I was told the pipe still worked so why fix it now? Maybe the owner was worried about a bad review. He certainly didn’t care about my happiness. I told him ‘I don’t beg for service’ and told him he’s not welcome back in my house. Chris seems like the kind of person who would rather be right than to service the customer’s needs. I’d rather pay additional money for a plumber than feel like I’m bothering someone to ask for what I consider standard customer service.

  I LOVE when I can give a fantastic rating for a local business! While selling our home, which has been a very difficult process, the buyer’s lender was concerned with water penetration in our basement wall and made the sale contingent upon us remediating the problem. Mind you — ONE WEEK FROM CLOSING!! I reached out to Paramount Waterproofing who came that day to evaluate my situation. My stress levels were off the charts… They were able to juggle their schedule to accommodate the remediation TWO DAYS before closing. Their crew was curteous, FAST, and cleaned up constantly throughout the day. The corrective action took less than 8 hours and allowed us to go to closing ON TIME! The owner called the following day to make sure I was satisfied and that we would make closing on time. WOW! I highly recommend Chris and his entire team. I could not have gotten through this tumultuous process without the incredible customer service they provided.

  Paramount came out to waterproof our basement for us this week and we are so grateful! Chris was so helpful with giving us a fair estimate and walking us through the process. He was very knowledgeable. The staff were friendly and conscientious. The whole process was much quicker than we thought and our basement looks great! Such a relief to not have to worry about the effects of heavy rain soaking the basement. Would highly recommend paramount!
