We had our very large basement serviced by Paramount several years ago - a new French drain system installed, and two new sump pumps. It is the gift that keeps on giving! (They also installed pipes from 3 of our well windows down to the French .drain system.) We are so pleased with the excellence of their work, and their commitment to their lifetime guarantee.
Also, we had one small snafu maybe a year after installation, there was a very small leak from one small spot. They immediately came out and fixed it, apologizing for the inconvenience.
Their work proved itself recently when we had an unrelated issue with a leaking pipe from our well. The French drains did their job admirably, and the plumber from Princeton Air who came to address that problem told us that whoever had done our French drain work had done an excellent job. I just had a French drain installed in my basement and it sounds like a toilet flushing every 30 seconds. I have a French drain in my other home that sounds nothing like that. I sent the owner a video of the main pump spraying water and making loud noises and he said it was normal. I then sent a video of the backup pump with the main pump unplugged and it made no loud sounds. I watched a video on YouTube stating that it could be one of two things. 1.) Air needs to be bled from the pipe or 2.) The pump was installed too low and should be raised 2” or so to reduce the frequency of the pumping and stop the pump from from clearing out all the water and making a loud spraying sound. When I asked about the possibility of changing the height of the pump I was greeted with resistance and told to give it a few weeks for the pump to regulate—not sure what that means. It sounded to me that the owner was not interested in my happiness with the job, so I told that he didn’t seem very interested in my customer satisfaction. All of a sudden his attitude changed. “When can we come over and check out the pump?”. As soon as I told him I would take care of the system myself his interest in my satisfaction. Mind you I had already paid for the system so any return to the home would be an inconvenience. I then restated that his crew moved a pipe from location and did not return the pipe at a 90 degree angle from the floor (see picture). Whe I brought this up to him on initial inspection he said ‘it still works’ when I said “it looks silly “ he had no response. Now that I told him not to bother he insisted he and his crew come over to check out the pump and fix the pipe. But I was told the pipe still worked so why fix it now?
Maybe the owner was worried about a bad review. He certainly didn’t care about my happiness. I told him ‘I don’t beg for service’ and told him he’s not welcome back in my house. Chris seems like the kind of person who would rather be right than to service the customer’s needs.
I’d rather pay additional money for a plumber than feel like I’m bothering someone to ask for what I consider standard customer service.

Chris and his whole crew are professional, punctual, and courteous. During the consultation, Chris explained the waterproofing process, addressed any concerns I had, and provided clear communication about scheduling, expectations and price. Chris was able to identify the root cause of water problems, which in our case is a musty old stone wall basement, and implement an effective solution. On the day of the project, the crew sealed off the work area to minimize dust, cleaned up thoroughly, and respected my property. Paramount Waterproofing also guarantees their work and will address any issues that may arise, providing peace of mind. And that guarantee is transferable to the next owner should we ever sell our house. Overall, this was a smooth, stress-free experience, from initial consultation to project completion.
