  By far the best experience I’ve had with a contractor after completing a major home renovation. The quality of work is excellent. However, the experience from the crew is what really stood out. From sales to install everyone was a total pro. Huge shoutout to Chris C. and his team from install. Excellent communication and professionalism throughout the build, which is hard to come by from contactors. Highly recommend Quality 1st for anyone considering a true basement system.

  After dealing with rainwater flooding my crawlspace several times, my neighbor told me to check out Quality 1st, who'd done work in his crawlspace. It was truly one of the best recommendations I've had as a home owner! I hired them to encapsulate my formerly dark and dank crawlspace and install a sump pump, which has worked incredibly well since (the massive snowmelt we just had put it to the test and it worked flawlessly!). And my recent annual maintenance was a breeze. Not only was scheduling an appointment easy, their technician Willie was prompt, communicative, and walked me through everything that would be done step by step, which I appreciated. It's so nice to not have to worry about water pooling under my house any more and I'm grateful for the easy and efficient service Quality 1st provides!

  I hired Quality 1st Basement Systems for a full water insulation project in my basement in Brooklyn. Mike was a charismatic and affable man who designed the project that I needed. Mario and his team were gold standard pros who flawlessly installed the system. This is an expensive firm, but in my experience, they were worth every single penny. 5/5

  Exceptional Service and Transparency from Quality 1st! I am very pleased with Quality 1st Basement Systems, particularly the outstanding support from Kathleen on my waterproofing project. Kathleen was incredibly responsive and professional. When we needed clarification on the revised proposal, she provided a crystal-clear, line-by-line explanation of the costs, which showed great transparency. She even went the extra mile to honor the original, lower pricing for the TripleSafe pumps. I appreciate the team’s flexibility in adjusting the project scope, including keeping the Foamax wall liner as a flexible option for the future. The communication on permits and the planned installation was excellent. I confidently recommend Quality 1st Basement Systems. They are honest, professional, and easy to work with.

  honestly i cant say enough good things about my experience with these guys. i was expecting the usual sales pitch but instead i got people who were actually interested in gathering information and making sure i understood what was going on with my basent and the systems they were installing. its rare to find people who are this intelligent and knowlegable but also just decent at thier core. they didnt try to take advantage of the fact that i was in a bit of a desperate spot with water coming in and they just focused on a shared understanding of the problem. even though it started with a free estimate i never felt like they were rushing to get to the next house. the level of detail they went into was amazing and they were so respectful of my space the whole time. you can tell they take thier duty seriously and it isnt just about the money for them. they are just courteous, respectful people who actually care about doing an astounding job and being honest about what needs to happen. if you are looking for someone who wont try to pull one over on you i would definitely give them a call, the free estimate is free and honestly I would have paid for it if I knew what I was getting. its refreshing to deal with a company that actually values intelligence and integrity over just making a quick buck. I am definitely going to be using them again because it is hard to find this kind of service these days where someone actually treats you like a human being and not just another invoice. It goes to show even in their marketing and the kindness of their representatives on first contact that they're willing to put very little before their customer.
