  Home gwnius exteriors are the bees knees! We needed our roof replaced and didnt know which company to choose because there are so many of them out there. Home genius stood above the rest on all fronts. The presentation had me sold. The installation itself went fantastic. the project manager waa always calling to update me on progress. We had a great experience.

  Today I had the most incredible experience with speaking to Shane Bond (window/siding inspector) that has brightened my day considerably. Usually when I get a knock on my door, I believe it’s just another solicitation. This guy that came today happened to provide a full range of services that suits EXACTLY what I needed and was looking for. He was very professional, knowledgeable and made me feel an overall excitement to get this project started again. I had a terrible experience in the past with Anderson (not sure if I’m allowed to name them) and have always been afraid to embark on this project again; so I left it alone for YEARS. I believed that I would be taken advantage of again. However, I feel in the safest hands with this company and have confidence in the project again. Shane is INCREDIBLE! He answered all of my questions, told me about the company’s founding/mission and put ALL of my worries and concerns to rest! I am so excited to get my estimate and FINALLY move forward with this project (that I’ve placed to the side for 5 years out of fear). I want to personally thank Shane Bond for all of his assistance and thank Home Genius Exteriors for hiring someone with such integrity and professionalism. If you have the right judgement to hire such an incredible inspector, I have full confidence in your judgement and company. Look forward to working with you!!!!

  They replaced my A frame roof back in October. The only time I saw the project manager was 2 times. Once when the workers started the work and the second to pick up payment. We had a lot of snow this year and when it melted, we had a leak in the house. Warranty guy came and told me the flat roof next to the a frame was slanting towards the A frame. He acted like he was doing a favor to fix it. We never had this problem till they replaced the A frame. There was inside damage to some wood beams that they are in the processing of fixing. I was told they would send their best crew. Well, if I wasn't keeping an eye, they would have taken the old drywall off and put the new dry wall on right on top of the mold that started to grow. If the drywall was removed from the beam once the leak was fixed, we would not have all this mold. No one is passionate about their jobs anymore!

  We engaged with them to install insulation over a porch that we had converted into a sunroom. When the person came out to assess what was needed, we were told that it would not do any good. However, he did do a walk through to assess the condition of our roof and convinced us to replace a portion of it. The project was completed as planned and scheduled, but we had some concerns which we discussed with the "project manager". One was that many of the new shingles were not laying flat, so not sure if the Owens Corning shakes are the problem or he is telling us the truth. Since this was done in December, he said that once the weather warmed up they would flatten out - time will tell. There was also damage done to one section of gutter by the workmen, and he said it would be addressed. Nothing had been scheduled right away and now two snowfalls have happened, but we have received no feedback from the project manager about addressing the damage. In addition, the melting snow has resulted in water leaking onto our gas fireplace box (assume flashing around chimney not done well), and that is supposed to be taken care of as well. We will need to go back to Home Genius Exteriors to check in again once more to have our concerns addressed. Overall, not impressed with this contractor and not convinced the product is great.

  Everyone from sales Chris John to contractors to foreman Joe Ingulli were wonderful to work with. The work was done efficiently and quickly and I have compliments from my neighbors and want Home Genius to do their roofs too. Already 3 referrals in 24 hrs. The team was here from 7am and gone at 5pm with all of my roof completed and gutters replaced. Highly recommend this company for roof, siding, (my next project with them) and gutters, windows, and doors and insulation.
