  We went to (2) different spots before heading to Avalon. Tried a small local spot to support local business, but despite advertised as open, they were closed. We also tried "Floor & Decor" but walked around for 30mins and nobody ever threatened to greet us, help us. We walked into Avalon, was greeted right away, then introduced to our salesperson Janet Bruno who was so helpful, knew exactly how to guide the experience with the questions she asked, was kind, friendly and SUPER HELPFUL. We were out of there in less than 20mins happy with what we selected and on our way. Thank you, Janet + Avalon.

  I can’t state enough what a fantastic experience we had at Avalon Flooring in Cherry Hill with our sales consultant Rota. We were purchasing special order tile from Italy for our shower renovation. She took great care to go over the overall aesthetic, all of the measurements and explained the best way to special order the quantity of tiles we required. Rota communicated with us throughout the entire process. We will definitely return for her assistance in the future. Thanks.

  Hey Patrick, I just want to say again how thankful my wife & I are that Avalon Flooring stood by their warranty and offered a solution that addressed our issue without having to demo the entire shower. Without hesitation we were sent an amazingly talented tile setter to repair our marble shower floor 10+ years after the original installation.   I had a very disappointing experience at Avalon Floors today. From the moment we walked in, the customer service was poor. The first associate we interacted with was rude and dismissive, she took a call while speaking to us, then hurried us off to the showroom so she could continue her conversation. She mentioned she would come check on us, but after 30 minutes, never did. I eventually flagged down another associate and showed her my inspiration board, explaining the style and materials I was looking for. Despite my calm, polite, and clear description, she offered suggestions that were completely opposite of what I had explained. She even made an awkward comment about how we “don’t like the same things,” then abruptly excused herself, saying she needed to assist other customers. When I asked how to schedule time to speak with someone else, she gave a half-hearted response and quickly walked away. I fully understand that design preferences can differ, but the lack of professionalism, attentiveness, and willingness to help made the experience frustrating and disappointing. I left feeling dismissed rather than supported — not what I would expect from a company known for flooring and design expertise.
