- JJJayMar 18, 20172.0here's my take. i've been there twice...i could have went there many more times but i didn't because of the reviews. i agree with all the reviews...customer service isn't the greatest....but you have to understand where these guys come from.. they are used to dealing with the pros... the last thing they probably want to do is help you understand and sell you something without getting a good details on the problem you are having at home. they probably have tried in the past and got it wrong and then have to deal with returns having said that...i knew exactly what i wanted....i called them up...(and make sure you get the actual store and not the call center...(ask if you are speaking to someone at the store)... On the phone, because i knew exactly what i wanted and 'sounded' professional...the guy was very helpful... as soon as i got there and asked for the guy i just spoke to 5 min ago... it's like they he had forgot he spoke to someone.....probably because i was driving a toyota camry and not a FordX150. :-) i explained what i just had a conversation about...and one of the guys said, "oh, those are in the back" barely got out of his chair... but then he eventually followed me and did help and answer a question i had...after he showed me where the part was... you gotta be prepared and you get further if you are speaking their lingo. oh and about the girl, ... young girl behind the counter, she couldn't be bothered...maybe she's only there to speak to women... ??? but i will tell you...THEY were the only ones that had the part i was looking for... not aaron's , not lowes and not cheapdepot.
