  Absolutely horrified by this company. I recently moved into a home, lived here for a year now, it has a stand by generator which was inspected and working beautifully. The couple before us used Seidel and highly recommended them since they were who installed it, the couple had the gold package and generator was maintained TWICE a year, so we continued the same maintenance. About a week before Christmas the generator was alerting, battery low. Technician Maciej came and said everything will be running great once I switch the battery he then recommended a surge protector which I was agreeable too, we were thrilled even gave him a Dunkin’ Donuts gift card because it was a cold day. When he came back to install the surge protector, he completed the task and then endorsed to us the entire generator needs rewiring, mind you this is only a 5 year old generator. Mind you, when I opened the generator after technician left it looks like all the wiring was fine and it just needed to be hooked back up. He left copper wires opens with no caps and was smoking a cigar while working around the generator. When I reached back out to the company and uploaded photos and pictures the company went RADIO SILENT. I have yet to speak to an owner I have yet to talk to another technician to have an answer and on top of this my generator is off for now almost 3 weeks. This company may have some reputable technicians but unlucky for me I guess. Would never use this company again. Awful customer satisfaction and awful accountability for their corrupt staff.

  These guys are incredible. Great service for our generator and then when it needed to be replaced, they came out in the freezing rain and windy conditions and replaced it to ensure we were all set in case bad weather came.

  Generator......Let Me start by saying.......Stop! Give Seidel Electric a call for your electrical needs. I called Seidel Electric 3 years ago for an estimate to install a generator after hurricane Sandy as I was without power for a week. I got 3 companies to come over for an estimate and 2 of them walked around my house for 3 minutes and said they will send me an estimate. How could they send me an estimate without speaking with me about my needs? (By the way they more more money). The 3rd estimate was Steve Seidel form Seidel Electric and he came over sat down with me and spent time with me explaining everything I needed...Nothing more and Nothing Less. Steve was...BY Far...the most professional and knowledgeable person I spoke with about a Home Generator. He never tried to over sell and explained what was needed for my home. Steve is very friendly as well as his staff. Suburb customer service.( when was the last time you thought a company had great customer service!) Home generators are no longer a luxury but a necessity. ......Please do yourself a favor and call Seidel Electric. Myself, my brother and 2 of my neighbors got generators....Everybody is thrilled!

  Hard to find an electrician with an electrical engineering degree. Quality work from this family owned business. Stephen does really great work and knows his stuff.
