  We first contracted with Floors By The Shore in 2018 to install new Allegheny Mountain Hardwood flooring with WOCA oil on our second floor where there was no flooring. Fast forward to 2024, we undertook a lengthy renovation whereby the second floor was unconditioned for over one year. Upon reconditioning the house and cleaning the floors with WOCA products, the floors looked exactly as they did when we started the renovation (for example, no buckling). Adam and his team provide exceptional flooring products, installation, and post-installation services which stand the test of time. Floors By The Shore makes residential flooring an exciting proposition for homeowners.

  We had oak floors refinished and the results were fantastic. The attention to detail commenced the moment Adam stopped by to provide an estimate through the refinishing. Adam not only clearly detailed the refinishing process but pointed out issues with the house that left unaddressed would have been quite detrimental. I thank him for going the extra mile. His attention to detail is what convinced me to hire his company.

  I started following Floors By The Shore on Instagram after watching some of their videos, the floors they were doing looked amazing and the process was fascinating to watch. It's been on my wish list for a while to have them do my floors; so when the old carpet reached the end of it's life I knew it was my chance to finally do hardwood floors in my bedrooms. My husband and I worked with Adam and his team to figure out how to incorporate the three new bedroom floors with an existing pre-finished hardwood floor that we had in our master bedroom and hallway. During that time, we realized that our staircase; a clunky contemporary style with a brassy oak finish, would not blend in with the new floors, so we decided we needed to redo the staircase too. We started planning in October and were given an anticipated start date of 1-12-26, and on that day, right on schedule, our work began. Adam's team of craftsmen came in and masterfully transformed the floors of my upstairs into smooth, beautifully toned floors that are solid, perfectly detailed and woven into my existing wood floors. The upstairs hall blended seamlessly into our new staircase,which is now the focal point of our entryway and foyer. Gone is the ugly orange oak, now turned into a beautiful and graceful traditional style with new hand rail, balusters and new oak treads to match my upstairs. Before work started, I had a hard time believing that the stairs could be totally transformed into something resembling the inspiration picture I found online, but over the course of two weeks they did it. They completely rebuilt almost every part of the staircase. As each each day passed we watched as more and more of it came to life. It was a wonderful process to see Henry, Luis, Jason and their team transform our home. Every day arriving right on time keeping the area clean and neat while making the magic happen. They were truly a pleasure to work with. We're extremely happy with the outcome of our project. Floors by the Shore is a top quality flooring company and has exceeded our expectations in every way. We look forward to having our downstairs floors done, hopefully in the near future! Thank you all!!
