Central Fence and Deck installed a chain link fence and a privacy 'wood look' fence around our back and side yards. The chain link fence is fine, but the privacy fence that we paid ~$4500 is pretty much worthless and looks bad. Shortly after install of the privacy fence part of it blew down. The company sent the original installers to make the repair. They put it back together but the results are in the attached photo's. They did not move the posts to line up with the horizonal railings, thereby creating the same issue, causing the fence to shift (see photo's) after some wind came through again. After contacting the company again they sent out one of their reps to take a look and he assessed the damage, wrote down measurements, and told us the fence needed to be reinstalled because the distances between the panels were all off by inches, creating the issue of the horizontal and vertical metal pieces not meeting. A few weeks later the original installer, Tony, returned to tell us he would order some caps to fix the problem. We explained to him what the rep told us and he claimed not to know anything about it, and that he would send us some caps to put on the fence. We didn't accept that solution and have not heard back from the company with an alternative. Central Fence and Deck did not act professionally on this issue. It was clear that they had no intention of fixing the problem the installers created in the first place. We are now stuck with an ugly fence unless we want to hire a different, more reputable company to install a new fence, costing us additional funds. Central fence and Deck should have told us that they weren't equipped to install this type of privacy fence. We would have gone elsewhere.
