  We had an excellent experience not once but twice with Universal Flooring. Two rooms they carpeted some years ago they recently upgraded to hard wood . On both occasions the work was excellent, the crew punctual and the owner responsive and caring about the quality of the work .

  I can’t say enough great things! They did an amazing job on our “in-law apartment,” the nursery our staircase + our room!!! My parents are thinking about going to them real soon to get their house completed! They were quick and professional! Thank you guys again! - The Curfmans

  original review I wrote regarding the DESPICABLE Behavior of the owner of universal flooring and his unprofessional / incompetent installer, Got a bad reaction from the owner of Universal Flooring ( Nor ) , and a threatening message from a business located in the plaza he's in . The following is the original message . ( Sam, Please be advised that you're review regarding Universal Flooring contains fictitious information. As a business owner yourself you should know that these kinds of reviews hurt your business. Which is probably why you take your customers money upfront before doing any work. The owner of Universal Flooring was never a psychologist, and never claimed to be. What you are doing is slander, and you're doing it for the sole purpose of not paying your bill. I'm going to put your review about Universal Flooring online for the entire town to read. Then I'm going to inform them that you're business practice is to leave bad reviews so you don't have to pay anyone. Talk can be really cheap.) After the original review was posted, The owner ( Nor ) called me up And said he is coming to my house the next day to rip off the hardwood floor that he installed and give me my money back. THAT Is how universal flooring deals with their customers issues. To start with if you criticize the installer he will immediately say I'm walking off the job, I have read another review regarding the same unprofessional behavior of one of this company's installers. The owner wouldn't give me a final receipt For over 2 months. I had to contacted his distributor and the manufacturer. The owner ( Nor ) Charged my credit card $1500 card without my consent , ( illegal ). After a lengthy investigation. my credit card company withdrew the money back from his bank and reimbursed me. I tried to work with this unreasonable man. I sent him emails to resolve our differences , he would never get back to me. The damaged Floor that he installed for me which he would not even come to look at , ended up needing about 12 boards to be replaced , according to the distributor ( The company which supplies Universal Flooring ) By the way , to the lady who sent me the threatening message saying I just didn't want to pay my bill, as a good gesture on my behalf I sent him a check for the same amount he illegally charged my card even before he resolved any of my complaints. I am not the bad guy here lady. Other professional installers would replace the whole board if it is damaged, Universal flooring cut the damage part of the board and replaced about 12" of it. Please check out this company's dismal reviews on YELP you will notice how the owner never adresses any of his unhappy customers concerns . He always answers everyone with the same vague response. Please note, everything stated in this review can be backed up by original emails , photos and transaction documents. Please please check other sites for more dependable reviews. After complaining to the distributor who sent someone to inspect the work of this company the distributor instructed Universal Flooring to replace 13 boards in one room. Universal Flooring sent Steve ,the same incompetent installer who decided on his own to replace only 4 boards. When I complained to Universal Flooring , the owner denied it at first, when I offered to show him the surveillance footage, he asked me to give him one week to convince the installer ( incompetent Steve ) to come back and replace the rest of the boards. This makes you wonder who's running the asylum here. 5 weeks past by , no show. Nor ( the owner ) you are a man without honor or integrity.

  We had a flood in our home that originated in the second floor bathroom...it ruined the carpets upstairs and the hardwood flooring downstairs. I called Nor at Universal Flooring, and he was extremely helpful with choosing new flooring for upstairs, and with getting the downstairs floors refinished. His crews arrived on time, were very friendly and professional. The work was beautiful! We could not be happier! I highly recommend Universal Flooring!
