  You really don't find companies like White Mountain Oil and Propane anymore. We recently purchased a property in the White Mountains area and did not want to use one of the national chains as it is rare you get to speak to someone local, and typically get bounced around the telephone until you find the person you need to speak to. This is not the case with this company. You call and you get to speak to a real live human in the White Mountains area in a matter of seconds! After our initial contact with the company, we had White Mountain Oil and Propane install 2 heating units, install and underground propane tank, and install a propane fireplace. They showed up on time, completed everything they said they would, and came in at the exact amount that they provided in the estimate. In addition I can't say enough about how great Don and Ellen are at this company. They are truly a dynamic duo! We had a small problem with our thermostat and I contacted Ellen about it...and then Don came over on his day off to take care of it! They are truly customer-focused and dedicated to delivering fantastic service and I can't say enough great things about them and the company. I highly recommend this company!

  I switched to Eastern because I was sick of the higher prices higher minimum deliveries and lack of customer service. It's been almost 6 months and white mtn still won't pick up their propane tank and credit me the propane in the said tank. ..

  If anyone does business with White Mountain Propane, this is what could happen to your house if you call for service with a broken furnace. When I called to complain about my heating service and the complete mess the tech made at my house, (black footprints on my carpet and black hand prints on my wall and service tech threw my hose and fuel cans all over the yard) the service manager Shane didn’t care (I’ve called repeatedly over the last month to try and square this away and finally got a call back after I called again today) and told me I was lucky that they didn’t charge me a travel fee....hahahah. Oh, and they tried to charge me 3.149 per gallon for heating oil with a 125 gallon minimum.I ended up going with Rymes for 2.829 a gallon and a 100 gallon minimum. #whitemountainoilandpropane #terriblecustomerservice per gallon for heating oil. I ended up going with Rymes for 2.829 a gallon.

  White Mountain Oil and Propane is a reliable source for home heating with propane. Their service is also prompt and they do a good job. Only issue I ever had with them was in trying to get an estimate for new equipment. I asked twice to have someone over to provide an estimate and never received a call to set up an appointment. Ended up having someone else do it, but I still use them as my supplier for propane.
