  Not a great experience. Metal roof went on but not without cutting a hole through my vaulted cieling. They cut through every layer of insulation and refuse to pay for any repairs. The unprofessional man Chris I delt with patched the hole and said good enough. My ceiling has a white patch in it and my ceiling is not white. All my rotten facia boards where not replaced but paid for. The unprofessional man Chris once again literally cut some corners and said good enough. The roof itself looks good. The level of customer service and the professionalism of the crew and crew foreperson along with Chris leaves much to be desired. $43,000 is a large price to pay for a half ass job.

  Guyer and Son replaced the roof on both our main house and barn. Their crew was fantastic, extremely efficient and cleaned up the area such that the grounds were spotless when they left. They were competitively priced and we were extremely pleased with their work. They have definitely earned 5 stars! (I recently mistakenly posted this with 1 star and have corrected the post to 5 stars) Lou & Lois

  Guyer Roofing was very responsive to questions and details about the roof during the quote process. The one day project was done professionally. The team worked well and cleaned up nicely. The roof looks great!

  Other companies turned away our project due to the jobsite being in a difficult to access location with no easy way to load material or haul the waste. These guys were a solid crew of hard workers. They had good ideas to overcome the challenges our structure posed and turned out an incredible amount of high quality work with no complaints and in great spirits. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and trustworthy right up to the end on a long hot day. Just the type of people you want on your team.

  Guyer&Son installed my metal roof approximately 20 years ago and it has started to show signs of rust and paint peeling. Since I had a warranty, I contacted the company and requested they inspect the roof. Sean MacPhee arrived , inspected, and informed me that he had seen this happen and warranty covered the issue. He said he needed to locate the paperwork and would call me with an update. He did not. I had to call him and he stated he had no paperwork or electronic records to honor the warranty. He asked if I had any paperwork, which (after 20 years…) I did not. He said he would do more research, and would call me with an update. He did not. After my initial call in July 2025, Mr. MacPhee has delayed, stalled, and ignored my calls. He had offered no explanation or assistance regarding the roof issue or any resolution of the situation. I had to personally visit the office and he was “out of the office “. I spoke with a staff member and he told the warranty wasn’t worth the paper it was written on. It is now September and Mr. MacPhee still ignores my calls and provides no explanation or information why my warranty is not his responsibility. It appears I am left to address a defective product and suffer the financial burden on my own. My experience has left me feeling of being taken advantage of and embarrassed. I was courteous and polite throughout this experience, but Guyer&Son responded in an unprofessional , unethical, and irresponsible way. That’s my experience with Guyer&Son.
