  Initial contact and communication was good and the only reason they didn't get 1 star. After sending in the deposit (they charge 3% to pay over the phone) I'm told it takes about a week to have the skylight made then another week to schedule. The next day I get a phone call "oh hey we found one in the warehouse and can be there tomorrow " seemed odd but sure. They got the old one out in under an hour and while they spent the entire day wrestling with the new one to try and get it in the old one that they left on my front lawn instead of putting in their truck, burned a 3x4ft dead spot in my lawn. After all that the new skylight didn't work and they had to have the deluxe rep come with another. Guess what, that one wouldn't open amd close right either. A day or so later 3rd times the charm (I guess). Left debris in my bushes and on top of that. It's been months and I haven't received 1 follow up call to see how the skylight is working. Thanks for the 4 grand cya later...

  Outstanding and efficient customer service from our first phone call through the completion of the project. The roofers sent to our house were very professional and very efficient. They did beautiful work and we're very happy.

  We chose Skylight Masters based on reviews of others . John Burton was informative and professional. The project was to replace two 30 year old Velez skylights. The skylights were replaced and we are very happy with the results. The installers were friendly and knowledgeable. They made sure our expectations were met before they left-our house.They were meticulous about clean up after completion of the job. We would highly recommend Skylights Masters.

  We had a skylight replaced and a repair to our roof -- this was about three or four years ago. We think they did a great job and have been very happy with the result.

  Had a great initial meeting. Very informative and cordial. Had great expectations. Company was to provide quotation for replacing 7 Velux skylights in a metal roof of a log home. This company is listed as a 5 star installer by Velux. More than 1 month goes by with no response. Won't acknowledge emails, phone calls or recorded voice mail messages. I contacted Velux and spoke to their New England sales/customer service rep.. Velux responded quickly and after explaining the situation shortly thereafter I received a call from Skylight Masters apologizing profusely for not returning my attempts at communication. Promises were made to provide a quotation quickly but doubts about the company had already been sewn. I did receive a quotation to which I have not responded since it was so way out of sorts with what my research had said this project should cost. The quotation was full of self accolades about what a great company they are and how customer oriented etc.. But no details of the cost of the installation. Just a big number. Needless to say there has been no follow up to this quotation on their part. They might indeed be a good company but my experience with the initial process has made me believe it would not be in my best interest to pursue further.
