They serviced a clogged toilet, while doing so they failed to inform me that I did not have a flange adjustment needed to reach the pipes properly, and prevent leaking into the floor after he could not get the toilet seated the way it was previously. Instead they installed a neoprene donut which is essentially a sponge and used green masking tape to seal it down to my cast iron pipe and my hardwood floors!!! That donut absorbed fecal water and distributed it into all of the subfloor of the second story bathroom. This slow leak began to present itself about a year later, when I informed the office they claimed that nothing that they would have done would have caused a leak, and claimed to have replaced the wax seal after unclogging the toilet. After weeks of leaving voicemails for the manager and her arguing with me, we were then going to have to wait weeks for them to come and inspect it, so we went with another company. When they removed the toilet I documented via video that the wax seal was clearly several years old and not recently replaced, a sponge ring and masking tape was used in place of extending the pipe to fill this new gap to meet the bowl after cutting away the connection, and that the moisture in my floor was directly tied to its contact with that neoprene donut after the tape broke down! I have contacted several lawyers and cannot sue them until I have had the floor replaced and collect a total value of the repairs!!! So far just to fix the toilet leak, get an actual wax seal, and correct that gap has been about $1,500 and I still have to get the floor torn up and my cast iron flange assessed for rust.
Also while installing my mini splits they drilled through walls without measuring and went through the outside shutters and did not seal the holes. Management brought a office lady out to try and upsell us on cutting through the roofs to have continuous piping rather than using the cheaper flex pipe around edges, while doing so she kept trying to separate my spouse and was making him uncomfortable with how much she was physically touching him, as well as pissed him off with her condescension towards me about our decision that was best for our house and our family.

Had the pleasure of being serviced by Al Terry Plumbing, once for routine maintenance and the second was an emergency. Both technicians who came out (Braden and Casey) were beyond friendly, knowledgeable and courteous of my home. We were more than satisfied with the level of service start to finish and will be calling again soon for our next plumbing project.

We had Al Terry come out to our property to take a look at an issue with the drains backing up. We had the septic pumped a few days prior by a different company in case the issue was a full septic, so the septic cover had already been cleared of any snow. It's not buried either, it sits about 5 feet from the house and has a round green cover about 14" in diameter and held on by just 4 screws. Al Terry's crew came out and performed a water jet service on the drains (which didn't actually resolve the issue as the drains backed up again the following day). They never provided us with an estimate first before they did the work. The excuse they gave was "We didn't have a cell signal to let you know, so we just did the work". After we got the bill for the service, I was shocked - there was a charge for $409 to "open septic". This task takes less than 3 minutes with basic tools. I visited the Al Terry office personally to ask about this charge and whether they thought it was reasonable to bill someone that much for such a simple task. I would have opened it for them myself had I known that would have cost so much. I also asked about the veteran discount that I should have been entitled to. They told me they would review my concerns the technician and manager and get back to me. I waited a few weeks and they never reached out to me. Very overpriced services and they don't seem to care about addressing concerns after the service is done. Would not recommend and would not hire again.
Edit: They reached out today to offer a credit for the veteran discount and half of the open septic fee, a few days after I posted this review.

Need to give a shoutout to Geoff from Al Terry Plumbing and Heating who has helped us out with our heating system over the years. He is Awesome! Earlier this year we had issues with our radiant heat system which I regrettably called a competitor at the time since they "specialize" in radiant heat. They took 2 mins to say it was an ice blockage, vs Geoff from Al Terry who took time to actually diagnose what the problem could be. He was able to replace a faulty mixing valve with a better mixing valve in good time, was vary personable, and respectful. The other company left us in the cold, Geoff from Al Terry left us with warm floors! Couldn't be more happier with Geoff and Al Terry's service!

Evan was very professional, made an upgrade to my heating zone to minimize potential future damage, and explained how to manage the water in a specific zone. Though, I'd probably call again to have a pro do it – it's nice to learn a thing or two.
