  Thank you to all at Diamond Hill! We love our new living room, laundry, and pantry. This is our third project with Diamond Hill and are so pleased with their workmanship and communication. The best thing I can say in a recommendation for a building company is that we totally trust them.

  They redid one of our bathrooms. They did what they said they would do at the communicated price. Love the new space and appreciate their attention to detail and how easy it was to work with them.

  Chris, Jason and crews were professional from day one. We were constantly informed of delays and costs due to COVID-19 and materials unavailability. They were very proactive with recommending that we select flooring, cabinets, countertop material and appliances well in advance. Jason worked with us to ensure costs remained close to budget. They built our garage first and stored materials for our home renovation to ensure that once the project began, it continued non-stop. Their initial completion time of approx 10 weeks was only extended slightly due to unexpected delay of roof trusses. Jason was our project manager and consistently was onsite to inspect the quality of the work. He was very detail oriented and did not hesitate to call a crew back if he was not satisfied with the work done. Onsite crews were professional, courteous and fast! Everyone in the neighborhood continually commented on the speed and quality of both the garage and our home. This is the second home that Diamond Hill Builders has worked on and I will definitely reach out to them again for future projects. Thank you everyone! Scott & Deb

  Unfortunately, we did not move forward with Diamond Builders. We received a quote of over $100,000 to add a screen porch and deck, which is not unreasonable. However, their quote spoke of raising our roof and removing windows. Before we would invest in such a significant piece of work we asked to see a design to understand aesthetically what things were going to look like. We were told the only way to do that was to pay them $3,000 which is non-refundable. We understand why they don't provide designs but who would throw $3,000 away if their design changes the look of our house in a way we do not like. We even asked to come over to see a computer rendering of the design so we would not have copies to share with other builders. I was told no design exists yet...which begs the question on the validity of the quote and work. Unacceptable...moving on. I want to thank Chris for reaching out and providing us with pictures of the design. After review, we feel the design changes the look and feel of our Cape house too much...especially with losing the bedroom window. Unfortunately, we will not be going forward with proposal but thank you again for helping us with the pictures.

  Chris and his entire team were a pleasure to work with. They were extremely knowledgeable, professional and efficient. I plan to use them again on other projects around our house and highly recommend them to others.
