  Great experience with Lloyd, Nick, and Britney at Garage Door Guys. Lloyd's busy on job-sites but was available via both phone and email to provide estimates and make modifications to an existing order. In the quoting process, he was the only individual to really explain the differences between manufacturers of various doors and to suggest a solution that didn't require custom-built doors that were much more expensive. Ultimately, Lloyd and team installed an 8 x 16 ft door on our old (1907) stand-a-lone garage. The job required removing the ancient wooden door and replacing it with the new door, installing an opener, and raising the rafters in the existing structure to accommodate the new door/track. Lloyd and Nick were able to do both the door swap and the carpentry work required for this job affordably and efficiently. Lloyd was under the gun on this job as we were expecting our second child in the weeks leading up to install and wanted this work completed before our daughter arrived. He got it done and gave us the great news that we could pull into our motorized garage when we returned from the hospital. Thanks, Lloyd!

  Had a fantastic interaction with Lloyd and his crew! It was refreshing being able to ask questions and get honest answers. Never felt any pressure and we got exactly the package we wanted. Best of all, priced just right! If you are thinking about using Garage Door Guys for your next project, do not think about it anymore, call Lloyd! I know he will take care of you, as he did with us. Reliable, honest, punctual, respectful and responsive are some of my final thoughts about this company. I will recommend to neighbors, friends and family. Update: I don’t want to take away from my original post/experience, I still think they did a great job. That said, it’s been over 2 years now of waiting for Lloyd to send someone back to finish garage door trim and install exterior keypad. I don’t know what happened …

  Garage Door Guys has a problem. Lloyd Anderson Jr. has a problem with calling me back to set up an installation date. Funny business. Beware. Update 8/7/20 He called and left me a message early in the morning asking me to call him back regarding the original review above and I called him back. My thought was I should give him a chance to tell me why he didn't call back and not doing the same that he did to me. On 7/15/20, he came to my house to give me an estimate for two garage doors. I asked for an exact date for installation because, he informed me that it'll be 2 to 3 weeks out, before I give him any deposit. His response was" I have to check on the exact date when I get to the office and I'll give you a call". No call from him since not till 7/29/20 I called him multiple times and no response. I called again on 8/6/20 and this time he actually called me back. Again his response was "I'll give you a call back in about an hour as I'm close to the office. I'll check your file and I'll call you back" and again no call and this time I was discouraged from this company and left a review "Garage Door Guys has a problem. Lloyd Anderson Jr. has a problem with calling me back to set up an installation date. Funny business. Beware". On 8/7/20 he called and left a voicemail asking me to call him to talk about my review. I informed him that our conversation is being recorded and he is gladly agreed. He explained to me that there were reasons that he is not able to give me a call back such as there were some personal issues but more importantly his own company's policy allows him to not call customers back and since he didn't take a deposit from me, he has more privilege to not call me back and he didn't forget to threaten me with a law suit for damaging defamation if I don't remove my review. If he had call me and tell me that he didn't want my business, it would have been smarter. I disagreed with him. My review reflected what had happened with the support of the recording that he admitted of doing. Thanks

  Made an appointment on Wed for THurs (next day) at 2pm. Nobody shows up so by 3pm I call in and it is explained there is a scheduling error. They apologize and make another appointment for the next day (Fri) for between 12 an 1pm. So on Friday, same thing happens - noone shows up. This time I call asking for a response, just tell me there is a problem, emergency, other issue and I will understand - just reach out to me. But you know what - they just ignored it. And the following Monday there is no call, no explanation , no nothing. I even sent them an email requesting to reschedule because I did want to work with them - but zilch , no response. How to build a business with that kind of treatment. You need to be upfront with each customer.
