- JCjason cain3 days ago1.0I called the technician out to inspect a gas leak I had in my line going to my hot water heater. To replace the flex line going from the pipe to the hot water heater which is roughly 2 ft and run a hard line, they quoted me a price of $850. They are friendly technicians, but absolutely ridiculous in price. I paid the $64 service call and then went to our local lumber yard and purchased $77 worth of gas line black pipe and did the install myself which took about 2 hours. Their quote to me was not even in the ball field of being reasonable.
