Our heater went out in the middle of the night, and we were worried and freezing. We reached out to John Henry’s and were blown away by how quickly they responded. Kameron Spickert was our technician, and he was incredible from the moment he arrived. Despite being woken up in the middle of the night, he showed up with a great attitude—professional, friendly, and genuinely happy to help.
Kameron diagnosed the issue right away, explained everything clearly, and had our system back up and running in no time. His expertise and compassion truly made a stressful situation so much easier. We’re beyond grateful for his fast response and top-notch service. It honestly felt like he saved our lives during that freezing night!
If you need HVAC service, John Henry’s is absolutely the company to call—and if you’re lucky enough to get Kameron, you’re in the best hands possible. Highly recommend! 🔥❄️
We have been fighting for a year with this company over their inept, and destructive work. While knowing they weren't qualified to install a Bosch dishwasher, this company required a $500 contract and decided to go ahead and take the job anyway. From stripping the threads on hose connections, to destroying cabinets upon attempted installation, this job was a complete failure.
John Henry managed to damage the trim around the dishwasher, which had exactly the same dimensions as the old machine. They also managed to scratch the hard wood floors done by Tom Manley, even though we offered plywood to protect them, but they declined. The plumber said they had insurance to cover the damage and that his dad went to High School with Tom, so it wouldn't be an issue. Ya right.
Dishwasher had to have parts ordered since they stripped out the connection. Disposal installed leaked after installation and had to be re-installed. And it took another 2 service calls to get someone to actually assess the issue of the dishwasher not fitting in the space, and they STILL couldn't get it right.
We finally called Ferguson's and got a referral for an actual competent appliance installer. This man's first words upon looking at the set up were, "you didn't pay them did you ?" After removing the botched attempt by John Henry, the machine was installed, balanced and balanced flush with the cabinets, just as it should be.
John Henry sent a full invoice in the amount of $1128. After months of poor communication, they claimed that they were giving us a credit for the floor damage, but out of the full invoice?
We had to pay $625 to have the floors repaired, and pay for the appliance installation, and have the cabinets repainted (which luckily was already planned.) So then John Henry tries to charge an absurd full price and then claim they're giving us a credit for all the time wasted and damage caused?? Call this company at your own risk.

I recently had my AC unit replaced by John Henry’s, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. After calling more than ten companies for bids, John Henry’s stood out immediately for their professionalism, clarity, and customer-focused approach.
Kameron Spickert, the technician assigned to my project, was exceptional. He arrived on time, explained everything clearly, and took the stress out of what could have been an overwhelming process. Kameron’s expertise and calm, friendly demeanor made me feel completely at ease. The installation was completed efficiently and with great attention to detail.
My new AC unit is running perfectly, and I couldn’t be happier with the quality of the work. If you’re looking for an HVAC company you can trust, I highly recommend John Henry’s—and if you’re lucky enough to get Kameron Spickert as your technician, you’ll be in great hands.

Under no circumstances would I recommend John Henry’s. The fact that they have such glowing reviews makes me genuinely question whether they’re legitimate or incentivized internally, because my experience was the complete opposite.
Nearly three weeks ago, I scheduled a duct cleaning and annual HVAC maintenance. On a Saturday, I received a call informing me they were “too busy” to keep my Monday appointment and wanted to push me out another two weeks. I told them that was unacceptable due to the heavy construction in my home and that I would need to look elsewhere. Suddenly, they were able to fit me in on Tuesday and offered a $50 credit.
Tuesday arrives, and the problems start immediately.
Two technicians showed up and left black marks on about 15 of my stairs. They initially denied it but eventually wiped them down with a cloth and water. Later, I discovered they somehow got paint inside one of my electrical outlets from dragging their cord across it. I spoke with the manager, who showed no concern or accountability for the damage.
I was also informed—after they arrived—that they couldn’t complete my annual maintenance because neither technician was mechanically trained. So once again, I had to reschedule, and someone else came out the next day.
The technician on Wednesday was by far the worst part of this entire experience.
He was rude, dismissive, and clearly more focused on selling memberships than actually providing service. When I mentioned the $50 credit I had been promised, he looked at me like I was making it up. As he tried to upsell me on their membership, I asked if they could credit the duct cleaning since it’s included in that plan. Despite me telling him they had cleaned my ducts less than 24 hours earlier, he called the office claiming it happened the prior week.
While on the phone, I could hear him questioning whether I even deserved the $50 credit I had been explicitly promised. When I asked if the 15% part discount (which is included with the membership I would be paying for monthly over a two-year lock-in) would apply, he acted as if I was asking for something unreasonable and told me I was “getting too many discounts.” None of these were random discounts—they were things they advertised.
At this point his behavior confirmed my suspicion that this company prioritizes sales tactics and profit over honesty or customer service. I declined the membership. Once he finalized the bill, it was more than $150 higher than the quote I received the day before.
Since then, I’ve called the office three separate times asking for a simple cost breakdown: the technician’s cleaning charges and the UV bulb replacement. The manager still cannot provide this and continues speaking in circles without answering my direct question.
Bottom line: Do not hire this company under any circumstances.
There are many HVAC, electrical, and plumbing companies that value their customers, communicate honestly, and provide professional service. John Henry’s is not one of them.
Was a little meh about the fee of $89, however, I still needed reliable help. Brady showed up, listened patiently as I explain my plumbing needs and expectations. He far surpassed them, he got to work immediately and cleaned up after himself. He was very professional and articulated what he found during his assessment of the issues that we were having after her scoped out the lines. I'm extremely pleased with how today went and the work he did. The fee was worth it to me in this case especially because time is very important with what I am dealing with, and I was able to get today after only calling this morning.
