  Todd was really great to talk to. His insight into some tips and advice to keeping our HVAC system in order was really helpful. I wasn’t aware that Star City has some plumbers and electricians on staff so that’s really nice too. Thinking of going with one of their plans and eager to see how beneficial it is. Thanks Todd and Star City!

  I was super excited to work with Star city as they were the only ones who had weekend access when I had an emergency. But it didn't go as planned. We had a guy come over and he said that the control board was out. So we had to wait two days to get the board installed. The first guy didnt come back, instead it was a guy named Payton. When he got the control board in he then said the blower motor was out. So then it was either we replace the parts or the entire furnace. At this point it's been like 4 days of freezing cold and super sick kids. Two with severe asthma. When the parts finally came in he said he was to busy to come fix it and it would have to be the next day. Another cold night and freezing morning. He came to install and was here roughly 45 minutes. I could hear him either watching videos or talking in the phone almost the entire time. He then comes and tells us that they sent him the wrong part and he would have to come back tomorrow with someone else and a new part. (But then kept stating he was coming back with the same motor we originally had, which makes no sense) That it would take an hour with two people to install a motor that I could install myself in twenty minutes. It is now 7 or 8 days later and we have no heat STILL.. He is supposed to be back with another person who will be helping him install. I am not confident in his abilities at this point. Or even Star city to be honest. It takes a third tech to see what's wrong and install new parts? Dont go with Star city y'all... I am confident in Capital Heating, I just wish they were open when I called Star city to begin with. Save yourself money guys, their parts cost double what all other companies quoted. Update: Brandon came out and fixed the motor and did a great job of communicating. I am pleased with his customer service and knowledge!

  Payton doesn't know how to do his job was on the phone or watching videos on how to change a blower motor which takes about 20 mins I should have did myself now day 7 and still nothing Payton in incompetent and shouldn't be allowed to work on people stuff he needs to bring help to change it smh.never use star City

  Zach was my technician and he was one of the kindest souls I’ve met in my life. He did the job thoroughly and then took time to answer other plumbing questions I had. He made me feel like I was his only priority today. And the price??? Way lower than I expected. I’m very happy. I also had Brett and he was amazing as well. I felt so bad because when he was leaning over to put his booties on, he backed into my cactus. I could tell it was painful, yet he continued with his work, never stopping and not once complaining. The work was thoroughly done. Again, such a nice and kind person also. The customer service is something I’ve rarely experienced. It’s outstanding. I’m blessed to have such a great company in Lincoln

  Scheduled an appointment after initial inspection for the following day, and they never showed up. I even called to ask if I was still on the schedule, and I never got a call back after the “information was sent to dispatch”. They also charged me an 89 dollar fee for just showing up and running a pressure test, telling me there was a leak, and not doing a leak test because “he didn’t have his nitrogen tester”. As far as I know the way you test for leaks in a line set is by filling with refrigerant and using soapy water or an ultrasonic test, so I’m not really sure what that means, or why a diagnostic technician wouldn’t have one on his truck unless it was to swindle me out of 90 bucks.
