Unfortunately, our experience with the luxury vinyl plank (LVP) flooring was the exact opposite. This was our first new build home, and we trusted our builder’s recommendation to work with Carpetland. We were “sold” on an LVP that was pitched as a significant upgrade. We took our representative at their word, assuming we were getting a high-quality product. Less than three years later, we had to replace all of our LVP because it was coming apart. This was a $13,000 upgrade — and the original failed in under three years. Completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, our sales representative expressed personal political opinions during the process — without knowing ours — which was unprofessional and inappropriate. Warning: Just because your builder recommends a company doesn’t mean you should automatically go with them. Do your homework. In our case, we found another flooring company after this ordeal, and their reliability and customer service were far superior. We will never do business with Carpetland again.
