    This review is specifically for the Columbus NE Window World. The finished product was fantastic! I am docking a star for the time it took to get to it though was a bit slow... We placed the order for our window (technically 3 windows, a large center window and two side windows) on July 10th 2024. It was originally indicated to me that it would probably be gotten to in about 1-2 months. That wasn't a problem for me at all, I figured there would be some delay. Around the end of August (a little more than 1 month), I called Window World and asked for an update. The lady on the phone (not the local Columbus person) told me that it would likely be several more months, when I mentioned to her that I was originally told it would be 1-2 months she told me that "nobody ever said that" -- so to that person, screw off, don't try to gaslight me. I know what I was told. The call center or whatever place this was needs to work on their customer service skills. I didn't let this affect my review here, because I wanted this to be for the Columbus NE store, but figured it was worth mentioning. I called back the next week and got the Columbus store and the woman there, who was very pleasant to work with, told me that it would be a while yet but admitted there was definitely a miscommunication when it came to the 1-2 months' timeframe. She never dismissed me and told me to callback whenever I'd like to get an update. This was in September 2024. I called back again mid-October for another update and was told it would be "a while" but that she didn't have a timeframe yet, that there were 6 jobs ahead of me. No biggy. I called back in November, and there were...6...jobs...ahead...what? I didn't argue, but it seemed strange that either nothing got done in a month or someone moved ahead of me. Again, it's fine...though they did clarify that my materials were in -- good, I guess? So, I waited a while, called back in mid-December, just before Christmas. I was finally given a (sort of) timeframe: early-mid January and there were 3 people ahead of me, one of them with six windows, so it might take a bit to complete. I wasn't even mad, this was great, not only did I have a tentative timeframe, but a reason for the delay (a large job). She did also clarify that they do only have one guy for the Columbus installs, so that definitely made sense as to why things moved more slowly. That brings us to January 2025. They called me and set up a date for the third week of January. The installer arrived on time, got the job done in the time quoted (2 days), and it looks amazing! I am very pleased with the work that was done, despite the delays. I likely will go with Window World again, and I do recommend to others, but maybe don't expect the job to be done very soon after ordering. Final thoughts: 1) Customer service (for the local Columbus office and installer) is phenomenal. No complaints. Despite all my calls and questions, they never once seemed annoyed and the woman who answered the phone was always happy and helpful. 2) Install quality -- again, really great. I don't have anything negative to say. They did the work professionally and in the time/days quoted. 3) Ordering time -- this is where they lost the 1 star. It seems CRAZY to wait 7 months from order to install. Maybe that's normal? I don't order windows every day.

    On initial order. We received the wrong indoor trim color. After we argued with them, they finally replaced it. Then after only a year, the seal on larger middle window broke and it became foggy. They took a year to finally bring us a window (after one supposedly broke on delivery) but it was not the right etching. They ordered another and showed up 9 months later with a differently etched window which didn't match either. I asked for that to be installed anyway so we could at least see out. They agreed it would be easier to match the two side windows to the bigger middle window. 9 months later.... they came and insisted on installing them when we could not be home, (called us the afternoon beforehand). Now they actually INSTALLED two new side windows with different etching than the middle window! Unbelievable!!

    Came out mid-January to measure up my windows for a quote. Four weeks went by without any contact. Called to see if they were still interested. They said they would find out where my quote was and call me back. Another week has gone by with no contact. Guess that answers my question.

    We love the windows! They ordered them and they came in at the time they said they would. The installers did a great job and were friendly and informative. They had the old out, the new in in one day and the second day they did all the trim work. Great job! Price was also great!

    Like the windows but have had trouble getting them replaced. Have a replacement window at store since January but still not installed.
