Carpet World Fargo is proud of the fact that we are locally owned and operated. We opened in 1968 at 2219 Main Ave. Fargo with a new concept of only selling floor covering and offering full installation service on everything that we sold. Our first location was modest at only 1,250 sq. ft. in an old heating and cooling building built in the 40’s. Within a few months a 5,000 sq. ft. addition was added and thanks to you, our customers, we have continued to grow.
We then moved to a larger 15,000 sq. ft. facility in 1978 on 13th Ave. S. Fargo which overtime we also outgrew. Working with T. F. Powers Construction and Hunter/Grobe Architects we designed and built our present location in 2004 in order to fill the needs of our continually growing loyal customer base.
