Joe Clark arrived on time and was very professional and efficient. He answered my questions quite thoroughly and showed me on the furnace the steps he took to fix a minor problem and maintain it. He was friendly and showed sincere interest in giving us the best service!!

Gentry installed a new Carrier heat pump and air handler unit installed 2021. Unit froze up in December 2025 and Gentry came and quote was 2,213 dollars to repair. Got a second quote from local HVAC..934 dollars on high end. Gentry is owned by a service group from eastern NC...not the Gentry family that we all trusted...find yourself a local family owned HVAC for your heating and AC needs. AND 4 days AFTER they seen my review and seen I was 'frustrated in the cold weather ' Gentry called and asked if they could come out and re-access the diagnosis and give a another quote. Nice of them to offer to do that after we have been on Emheat for 2 weeks now....how about sending a check to cover high electric bill.

Joe Clark did an excellent job. He did a thorough job of checking everything and even did a washdown of the outside unit though it was pretty cold. Was very friendly and we had a good conversation.
