- DFDanielle Fischer1 day ago1.0I had a leak at the valve under my bathroom sink. Jason barely looked under the sink before checking my other bathroom & then going to the crawl space. At that time, he told me all of the brass fittings had to be replaced with pvc & I needed a water softener & iron remover. He gave me a verbal quote of approximately $4,800 for the whole job. I asked if he could at least fix the leak while he was here. He said maybe he could come back with the parts the next day, but it probably wouldn’t work. He then went to his truck to write up the estimate. Work that he verbally said was $4,800 was now $9,977! To fix the leak was $464. I also paid $95 just for him to come here. Thankfully, my BIL, who’s a contractor, was able to come look at it. He didn’t have to replace anything. He just tightened up the fittings. It took him 5 minutes! He also said the quote from Zoom Drain was absolutely ridiculous.

I live in Alabama, but I own a house in Fayetteville so I have to deal with problems that arise from a distance. The tech communicated with me and identified the problem and told me what he could do to fix it. The whole process was very stress free.
