Given these high quotes, I decided to seek a second opinion. The other HVAC company was able to identify and replace a part that Regan and Son didn’t even mention, and they fixed the unit for just $1,200. This stark difference in pricing and the fact that Regan and Son failed to accurately diagnose the problem raises serious concerns about their competency. I reached out to Regan and Son to discuss their inflated estimates and questioned their ability to properly diagnose issues. Based on this experience, I am hesitant to trust their services in the future. I can’t recommend Regan and Son, as I fear others may face similar overcharges and unnecessary replacement suggestions.
