  Window Xperts is as good as it gets in the window department. Dave makes it extremely clear that he values giving the best service, price, and quality for his customers. For the quality that he installs, it is the best pricing I've seen, especially compared to the big guys. Everything is always super professional yet relaxed and zero-pressure at the same time with these guys, honestly just feels like I'm talking to an old friend trying to help me out. If you're looking to get new windows Window Xperts are the guys to go with there's no doubt about it.

  Window Xperts is the perfect name for this company because that is truly what they are, experts at residential window sales and installation. Dave and William are consummate professionals and gentlemen, an absolute pleasure to have in my home for the two days it took them to replace 19 original builder-grade wood windows in my Chapel Hill townhome with gorgeous American-made, white vinyl double-sash and picture windows. I was amazed at the speed, efficiency, and quality of the work, and I can’t wait to have them back to replace a set of original failing exterior French doors. I was very anxious when I began this process at the end of 2025. After sitting through exhausting 2-hour sales presentations from Champion and Renewal by Anderson (most highly recommended online), where the salespeople basically tried to scare me away from their competition, and then estimated $1,700–$3,000 PER window, I felt hopeless that I would never be able to afford what my home so desperately needed. My modest 1,500 sq ft. townhome in Chapel Hill was built in 1995 and still had its original windows, many of which wouldn't open, and some had cracked glass from the warped wood. This past winter was especially harsh, and you could feel the cold air seeping in through cracks and gaps. I could literally feel my money going out the window, and after a $300 Duke electricity bill one month, it was time for a change. So I turned to the robots, CoPilot and its conversational, AI-powered assistant, to be specific, asking who the highest rated, locally owned and operated window retailer/installers are in the Chapel Hill area. Luckily, Window Xperts was third on the list. I called all three, had two companies out to assess and give bids, and settled on Dave. Here is why. Excuse the pun, but he is a breath of fresh air, a wonderful consultant who clearly has a deep knowledge of his trade and the products he recommends and sells directly from the manufacturer. He is an owner/operator who was on site both days and clearly has a great working relationship with his master installer, which, in my opinion, speaks volumes about his character as a business owner. It’s a level of service that I feel is priceless these days. I told him this is not my forever home, but an investment property that I will likely occupy for the next 5 years or less, and then maintain as a rental. He really listened to that and recommended a great product I could afford. I never felt pressured, misled, or overpriced. He was transparent about his pricing model, and what I really valued most was that he considered the architectural integrity of my home within my community and wasn’t just trying to sell me on his most expensive product or say yes to whatever I asked for. Needless to say, I highly recommend chatting with Dave Herzberg if you are in the Triangle area and need new windows for your home. Give him a call, he’s got a great sense of humor too.

  Love, love, love our new windows! We interviewed 5 window companies and chose Window Xperts for several reasons. First, Dave the owner is very hands on. He is super knowledgeable about the windows and was not high pressure at all. He is a very good listener We chose the Joyce Trinity windows. Price/Value was impressive. Love the substantial look of the windows. Installation was a breeze with William and Anthony. Dave came several times while the installation was ongoing. We chose fixed windows in the dining room for a more expansive lake view! Thank you Dave for putting up with our indecisiveness during this process. We highly recommend you and Window Xperts!!!

  Dave is a great man to work with, friendly and personable but also no-nonsense and efficient. After getting quotes from about 10 companies and sitting through their gimicky demos and high-pressure sales pitches, Dave was a breath of fresh air. He isn't trying to scam you, he has a good product at a great price and the expertise to back it up. He beat all other quotes by a landslide. He was communicative and the windows were fully installed less than 2 months after our first contact. His install crew were efficient, clean, and experienced and Dave was onsite multiple times throughout the day to check in with them. It has been life-changing for us going from non-functional metal windows to clean, aesthetic, energy efficient vinyl and we are so happy with our purchase. He is truly a rare find in a city this large. I would recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat.

  Great company! Knowledgeable, conscientious, excellent quality of windows and workmanship. The owner Dave helped us with anything we needed to learn, which is very easy. The sound control and temperature improvement are amazing. Would recommend them to everyone.
