  I have been a carpenter my entire life. I started as an apprentice and have worked up to owning my own business. I have worked for many contractors in Raleigh and the surrounding area. And I can say without a doubt, Neuhoff and Beverly have been the absolute best. Not only do they truly care about the clients wants and needs, they enlist the best group of people I have ever worked with. From the project managers, the in house designer, bookkeepers, coordinators and subs, I have absolutely enjoyed my time with them. They are true professionals in the art of custom home remodeling and renovations. I highly recommend them not only for their experience and attention to detail, but for the love and compassion they bring to their projects.

  In 2016, we hired Neuhoff Custom Builders for an extensive renovation project in our home, which included two custom/design bathrooms, adding a full laundry room, master closet, hardwood floors throughout, and installing lighting. We could not have been happier with our experience with them: 1) very TIMELY (which was important bc we had a baby on the way). They told us that they would be done before the baby arrived and they WERE. 2) No "surprises". Ken and Garfield (our project manager) did a GREAT job of working within our budget, and coordinating the logistics of the various projects in the house with us so that we always knew when and what was going on everyday. That was important to us. 3) Pro-Active. We had been in our house for less than a year before they started the renovations, and they were very helpful in answering our various questions and pointing out and discussing various things/issues that were outside the scope of our renovation project and we found that helpful and useful. 4). Follow up/Follow Through. There were only a couple "hiccups" (which is to be expected in any renovation project), and we were very impressed with how Ken followed through and fixed everything until we were completely satisfied with the outcome. We give Neuhoff Custom Builders our highest recommendation and they were an overall pleasure to work with from beginning to end.

  Ken did an outstanding job and I have and will continue to recommend him to anyone for large renovation projects. Ken's crews completely gutted and renovated our 1920's bungalow in a matter of 5 months staying within budget and on schedule. The crews were all very respectful of our home even when it was down to just a shell, making sure to sweep up each night. They were also patient with my questions and frequent drop-ins to check-in on the progress, always eager to share what they were working on or offer a helpful suggestion. Ken was always quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had and went to bat for us several times during the process to make sure all tasks were completed with the highest quality. Ken's attention to detail and customer service never waned from our first scoping meeting to getting the final items knocked out on our punch list.

  Ken and his team have done a first-rate job on two renovation projects at my house. I wouldn't even consider another contractor! Some people go hunting for the lowest bids, but you get what you pay for. You're not only hiring a contractor, but the quality of the subcontractors is equally important. Ken has relationships with some of the very best subs I've ever seen - and I've owned many houses. Everything is done on time, on budget and with expertise. Most importantly, you can trust the entire operation at Neuhoff Builders and know you're getting a quality job that meets code regulations.

  Courteous, thorough, ahead of time and on budget. It was a real pleasure to deal with Ken and crew for the office addition to my home. I'm already queueing up more renovation and expansion. Thanks to the professional nature and quality of work he stays booked up.
