I had the pleasure of working with Andre for a plumbing inspection at my home, and I couldn’t be more impressed. From the moment he arrived, it was clear that he was highly knowledgeable and professional. He thoroughly inspected every aspect of the plumbing system in my house, taking the time to explain what he was looking for and why.
What stood out most was Andre’s honesty—he didn’t try to upsell me on unnecessary services or products, which I truly appreciated. He gave me a clear and transparent assessment of what needed to be done, and even recommended ways to avoid potential future issues. It’s rare to find a service provider who is both skilled and genuinely focused on what's best for the customer, and Andre is exactly that.

I spoke with Amanda, who was professional, friendly, and managed to book an appointment for me the same day. She maintained excellent communication throughout the day, providing timely updates on when our technician would be arriving.
Our technician, Olekxandr Gryshko, continued the exceptional service. He was prompt, incredibly polite, and took the time to meticulously go through our heating system. He patiently and clearly answered every question we had. When a part needed to be ordered, Olekxandr's communication regarding the follow-up visit was above anything I expected.

Firstly, Trevor and the other tech were very professional and courteous. Unfortunately I wasn’t happy with the quality of work, so that is my reasoning for only 1 star. We hired Blanton’s to do a leak detection because of a water stain on our ceiling directly below our master shower. There was no filter on their shopvac so when they cut into the ceiling for access, it shot drywall dust all over our living room. They diagnosed the leak as “spillage” from the shower, which was incorrect. The leak was due to an issue with the shower pan under the built-in bench, which I confirmed doing my own leak test after they left and getting water to drip from the same location. (They were not able to recreate the leak, and landed on “spillage”, which never felt right.) Despite Trevor and the other tech being very likable, I would not recommend Blanton’s to anyone in need of leak detection services.

We had a gas tankless hot water heater installed (love it!) and removal of the old gas hot water heater storage tank from our 2nd story attic, as well as installation of a new master bathroom toilet and shutoff valve. Our three Blanton’s technicians, James McMakin, Jacob Eason, and Jorge Rodriguez did an absolutely outstanding job in accomplishing everything and we couldn’t be happier with the end result. They were extremely professional, experienced, courteous, and personable. What my wife and I especially liked was they addressed every question and concern we had and explained everything in a friendly manner, ensuring we were completely satisfied with their answers before resuming their work. We highly recommend all three of these highly skilled and trained individuals, with special thanks to James for getting the old hot water heater removed from the 2nd story attic without a bit of damage or mess (was our biggest concern)! Blanton’s prices may seem a bit high to some, but we feel it was well worth the cost for top-notch quality work done right the first time and up to code by knowledgeable experienced technicians!
On a follow up service call, one of Blanton’s electricians, Jorge Rodriguez, did a whole house electrical check for us and identified several issues that needed immediate attention, many of us we were aware of, but needed confirmation and recommended solutions. Jorge took the time to thoroughly discuss all options to address each issue and assisted us in choosing the right solution in each case. He was able to fix several electrical problems that had existed since we moved into our house over 3 years ago (our bad for not addressing them sooner), plus provide good recommendations to address other areas, such as replacing our 25-year old smoke detectors (7), adding one combo smoke and carbon dioxide detector on each story, and upgrading our 25-year old circuit breaker box, to include surge protectors. We can’t emphasize how highly we think of Jorge’s knowledge and capabilities! He was extremely patient and satisfactorily answered our many questions and concerns. He will definitely be our “go to” electrician for all future needs!
Dustin Bracken, the plumbing service professional, was very professional and knowledgeable. He explained every step of the process for determining our plumbing leak and the repairs needed. He provided detailed options for repair with cost estimates. He was a joy to work with. We live in Garner and Dustin had to travel from Fayetteville because the Garner service techs were all in a training class. We plan to request Dustin if we have any other plumbing needs. I give Dustin five stars, I give Blanton’s only four stars. On the second day of repairs, Dustin was scheduled to arrive at 8:30 am. At 8:19 am, I received a call from the dispatcher that Dustin was experiencing ‘truck issues’ and would arrive shortly. Dustin arrived at 11:00 am. He was mortified that I was not given a more accurate estimate of his arrival and apologized for the delay. He stated that he was told that he and several others would have to conduct a truck inventory that morning. Dustin explained that he was completing a job with a customer who was expecting him at 8:30 am and was told that the truck inventory was ‘non-negotiable’. Dustin said he asked the dispatcher to call me and explain and was told everything was fine with me. If Blanton’s truly is customer focused, a truck inventory IS negotiable if a customer appointment has been arranged if your customer is actually customer focused. I was not able to do anything else that required leaving the house or using water since I had no idea when Dustin would arrive and did not want to be in the middle of something when he needed to shut off the water. This was my first experience with Blanton’s and because of Dustin it was overall a very positive one but I really hope that someone will take a look at mandates such as truck inventories and clarify if the customer is really number one.
Again, five stars or more for Dustin and four or less for Blanton’s for lack of prioritization of the customer and clear communication.
