- CLCaitlin LooseOct 8, 20255.0Appalachian Comfort Systems have done work for us 3 times now. The first time, our blower motor had to be replaced due to being damaged from a brown out. The second time, a coil had a leak in it which was causing us not to have any cold air. They fixed the leak, added refrigerant, and we had functioning A/C again. The third time, we had a clogged drain line that ended up causing us to have standing water in our attic that came through the ceiling. The safety switch that was on it had malfunctioned and failed to turn our system off when the leak started. They unclogged the drain line, cleaned up the water, and replaced the safety switch to give us peace of mind in the future. From the owners (Jessica and Josh) to the scheduler (Helen) to the techs (our most recent being Declan), the professionalism is top notch. I respect integrity in a business. The communication is wonderful and they’re always dependable. They’re fairly priced. This is a company you can trust to be transparent and do the job right. My advice: Schedule regular maintenance checks on your unit and regularly change your air filters.
