We had purchased a new heat pump 2 years ago spending well over $28k. Our first preventative maintenance service, the technician attempted to push another $750 to $1,200 of additional items stating we needed on our system. Of course we did not buy the additional items. When we called regarding the outdoor unit making loud rattling noise, it had taken them almost 1 week, after several follow up calls, for them to come look at the system. Now, our system keeps tripping a circuit breaker which they stated the earliest they can be out would be in 5 days.
They are quick to sell you a high price unit then not respond timely when their equipment have issues.

Today Jackson Vaughan came to home to discuss service/replacement of our HVAC system. Jackson inspected both our our systems and explained everything He found...with photos. Jackson is very kind and treated us with care and respect. Jackson explained the difference between servicing a system and replacing a system. Jackson detailed 3 different HVAC systems, how they work, how much each cost and warranties. Jackson didn't hide any options from us. We look forward to working with Jackson in the future. Thanks to Jay's AC, Furnace & Plumbing Repair and Jackson Vaughan for taking care of us.

I had an HVAC duct and blower cleaning, as well as an installation of a fresh air bundle package performed. Levi and Jared from Jay’s were excellent! They were very punctual and polite during the initial inspection process, thoroughly explaining all options and services available. I appreciate that they distinguished between the necessities and the “nice-to-haves”. During the actual service, they did a great job and were very respectful of my house, cleaning up their work areas and being mindful of not tracking mud or dirt through my house as there was inclement weather on the day of service. Thanks Levi and Jared for the 5-star level of service!

Had emergency plumbing need on Christmas. Was able to get an appointment on Dec 26, which was confirmed via email. No show, no call. Reached out the next day. Again, customer service agent was very nice and promised to get in touch with the dispatcher. Someone would reach out with a resolution. Once again, no show, and no communication.
Three (3) days after my 'confirmed' appointment, and 2 proactive follow up calls, I still haven't heard a word from Jay's. A competitor drove 70 miles to help on Sunday night. Everything resolved and pleased with the outcome.
I understand conflicts come up, and short staffing on a holiday weekend is perfectly understandable. Promising service and 'ghosting' a potential client in need is not. Do better...
Y’all keep calling asking how I like your service, so here it is.
I don’t.
The first day you came out I posted a good review, because y’all were very pushy about me leaving a good review, even though you hadn’t preformed any actual repair yet. Since then, I have decided to edit the 5 stars I gave you.
They can’t give you any kind of eta of when a tech will be here.
They constantly try to sell you some kind of membership but a membership doesn’t fix the issue.
I called them because the fan on my blower motor is broken and I cannot find the oem fan myself.
I’m aware that I have a very old unit and replacing it wouldn’t hurt but it still works, I just need a fan.
I was told it would cost me $7000 to repair my unit because it was about to fall apart and catch on fire, so I agreed to the repair because it is mid winter, heat is nice to have and I don’t want my house to burn down. 5 minutes later I get a call from someone else telling me it’s not smart to repair this old of a unit and for just a “few thousand more” I could replace the entire system, so obviously I agreed. They sent another tech (he actually did a great job) out to give me a quote on a new system, he saw what was going on and agreed to send someone out just to replace my fan, atleast I would have heat until I got a new unit. Then I thought, well if my home was actually about to catch on fire he would not be able to offer me just a fan, he would have told me to turn it off immediately.
After he left I started receiving calls and text asking why I had changed my mind on replacing the whole unit and that they are concerned for my safety, keep in mind the person concerned with my safety is the only one that hasn’t been to my home.
The next day, before I received any kind of quote on a unit, they called and told me they could lower the price if I didn’t like it but they still hadn’t given me a quote?
Finally they called and told me it would be
Either $18,000 for a high end or $15,000 for a lower end unit and that is after they “gave me a discount”. He doesn’t recommend the lower end unit because all it does is blow hot and cold air. (I guess the high end will give you a massage).
No one has tried to come replace my fan.
I have been called and texted multiple times since then trying to get me to buy the whole unit. if you don’t answer, they call you from a different number. They called me on Christmas Eve and they are currently calling me and texting me on Christmas Day which is why I’ve decided to let everyone know what is going on.
This is not how you operate a business, this is not how you get customers.
Try backing down a notch, very unprofessional and I will not recommend this company to anyone. They do not care about your issue, they just want the commission off of a nearly $20000 repair.
A fan similar to what I need is roughly $300.
I will be taking my old fan to find a match at grainger like I should have done to start out with.
Also, the first tech told my wife that he had to talk me out of the $7000 repair because it wasn’t smart.
He is the one that came up with and recommended that repair.
Again,
Very unprofessional,
Do better.
