Charges would just show up on your credit card with no explanation. They would come and do maintenance and would always find something wrong on a 2 year old unit. They would give you an estimate and it was always higher when completed. Then tell me something else was wrong and have to come and fix that as well. Cancelled

My technician was polite, professional and knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed two issues which we were unaware of - one was a small gas leak in our basement unit and immediately resolved the problem. I’m very pleased with my maintenance contract and the technicians who service us.

Really disappointed with our experience with this company. We built a new home and hired them to handle all the hvac work. They were recommended by a friend who works for a popular home builder in the area. MTB installed an upstairs bonus room thermostat with a short fuse. We moved in a little over a month ago and the heat strips on the heat pump on this side of the house have been running constantly due to this fuse. We do not use this area often it would not have been something we notice. We get our first electric bill from Duke… $1300 total. You can see on our duke energy app from when they turned on the system after their final “inspection” to the day they fixed the issue and our energy usage has dropped drastically. This should have been caught during their final inspection. And now I question the quality of the rest of their work. How they took ZERO accountability for this and offered no compensation for this screw up. The technician that came out and fixed the issue was amazing and so kind. But the company overall needs to stand by their customer service and take accountability instead of brushing off a customer who had given them thousands of dollars. It took them days to finally address this problem just to finally tell us we are stuck paying the bill.

Had new HVAC installed on our new construction and the whole process of them coming out and setting up was great until I got our first electric bill. There was an issue wiring one of the thermostats and the wire was pinched when installed causing there to be a short and have our heat strip on constantly for 45 days.
Once we received our first electric bill for $740, MTB was quick to come out and fix but are not willing to help out on the energy overage blaming it on other crafts when it was clearly due to install.
Hate to have such a bad experience at the end when the whole time up to this was great but they need to take ownership to their faults.

Bought an over priced unit in July of 2024, only because of the assurances of the sales rep, Ken Hopkins, that we would not be scammed. We bought the unit, along with the almost mandatory 'service contract ' ( if you want to keep your warranty ). The 'service guy' came for ' maintenance' , he was able to find a '''gas leak '' no one else had detected ( no odor ). The gas 'leak' at the male / female coupling ended up costing us THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS , for a part not more than $20. I tried to call the 'Sales Rep', today ? Of course, Ken Hopkins is gone, left six months ago ...........
