- JMJay MurphyOct 27, 20255.0We did a fairly significant kitchen update using this service - redooring existing cabinets, extending the island and adding a third row of cabinets above the existing installation to maximize storage space, along with new counters, backsplash, fixtures. The team was generally great to work with and did a great job getting everything done in line with our expectations/vision. As with any large project there were some snags, but the KTU team made sure that everything was done exactly as we wanted it at the end of the day. Would absolutely use this service again, and may use them for a bathroom update next year.

Initially we were very happy with the results, however shortly after completion the refacing began to peel on the edges in multiple places. For the first year Kitchen Tune-Up came out multiple times and remediated the issues as best they could. Once a year passed, they no longer would do this and even suggested I buy a $500 maintenance plan so they could come fix the peeling issues. We have had their refacing for ~5 years now and I'm constantly finding new places where it's peeling and doing my best to fix the issue myself. I get that it won't last forever, but for over $10,000 I would expect it to last longer than that.
