I researched metal buildings until I had too much information. Called many places and got what seemed to be the “salesman runaround”. Since the first time I spoke with Navy at Premier Metal Buildings she never made us feel like she was working in sales, but trying to help us make the right decision. The knowledge she has about these buildings is absolutely amazing, she will 100% ensure that you are making the right decision for you. Throughout the entire process she answered questions, helped me make changes, answered more questions, and when she realized that the most important part of this process to me was durability, she made suggestions with prices to ensure I was not making a blind decision.
The owner of Premier stepped in to help me when it was time to get the permits. He was more than helpful and pointed me in the right direction or simply gave me the answers I was looking for.
Even though Premier Metal Buildings doesn’t have their own concrete business, they have a suggested business in mind and it is evident that they work together regularly. As soon as the plans were set, Jesus took over and worked with me along the way. There was a minor hiccup during grading that was no fault of his, but it was my property. He gave suggestions and came up with a plan to make sure that everything was going to be exactly like I wanted it and flow seamlessly with the building. The building foundation and added driveway turned out great.
Prior to the concrete being poured I was supposed to have the area roughed in for plumbing but was getting the run around from the plumber that I was using. I told Jesus about my issues and he suggested a friend of his, Jose, who owns “Bernal Plumbing”. I spoke with Jose and he was at my house within an hour to give me a quote. He knew my timeline and was back the very next morning to get to work.
I was informed that the materials would be delivered to my property on March 17th. On March 15th I received a call from Adam, who informed me that the materials would be delivered on the 16th instead. On the 16th the materials were delivered and Alin got straight to work. They started on Monday and finished that Saturday. I’m sure they could have moved faster but they made sure that everything was perfect. Alin made a small change on the fly for me with no issues (walk through door location) and even fixed an issue with two of the doors that were sent (distributor sent two of the wrong doors, fixed the issue as soon as it was noticed, a non issue in my book).
Ordered Garage doors from “Garage Doors of Winston-Salem” who is another preferred vendor with Premier Metal Buildings. The owner of that business Mica, was as easy going as they come. Made sure that we had all the options available to us and gave prices on the front end to ensure we stayed within our budget.
The only part of the entire build that was not suggested by Navy or Premier Metal Buildings was an electrician. For that I used “Flash Electric” and again I could not have been happier. You want a good electrician that will make sure you meet all your needs, call Flash Electric.
From the time that we gave our deposit until the day it was done was right at two months and I have nothing but good to say about anyone that had their hands in this along the way. Between the small hiccups, weather, or even scheduling, every single person I mentioned above made me feel like my project was the most important to them at that moment.
If you’re on the fence about what company to go with, stop overthinking it and give Navy a call, you won’t be disappointed.
I had a 40x35x12 with 2 10x10 doors built that will 100% out last me.
