Wonderful job and we are very pleased with our new bathroom. The team of workers was very professional and there was attention to detail. We appreciated that it was a turn key job. I would recommend to anyone.

Went back and forth for weeks trying to get a quote. Poor communication. Finally got the quote and then the company just stopped responding to us. Tried and tried to get in touch to move forward with a serious household project but they couldn’t take the time to respond and let us know what was going on. We waited for weeks in between hearing from them. Not sure how anyone gets work done with this company - I tried and tried to hire them to no avail. Wasted a lot of time. Edited to include my perspective: I never once implied I was in a rush to get this job done, but I couldn't even get anyone to respond to settle on a date or even timeline of when we could expect the job, take a deposit (I specifically asked how to proceed with the job but never got a response), or even confirm the job would be taken on by this company. My "sporadic emails" came about once a week after we spoke initially late March, when you said you'd come by to give me a quote. Someone did come to the house but never sent me a quote. I left town around that time so about a month later, late April, I contacted you again for the quote, which you did send via email. I responded to this email quote immediately saying "YES please let's proceed and how do we proceed". No response. I emailed to follow up a week later. No response. A week after that I responded again asking why no one was getting back to me. By that point two months had gone by trying to get anywhere with this company when someone could have just responded to my first inquiry about moving forward with the job. You actually never responded to my email asking you if you knew anyone who could help - you never responded at all to my last email. "Your total communication with us consisted of a handful of sporadic emails stretched over a couple months time". This is absolutely not true. I called and spoke on the phone with you more than once, as well as other associates. I did mention I live 3 hours away and was remotely trying to get this work done. My "sporadic emails" were simply me following up trying to get confirmation or directions on how to proceed, which I never recieved. "You never came into our showroom, signed a contract or paid any deposit to start any work for you." I TRIED! I tried to pay a deposit but could not get anyone to respond to me to confirm the job would be done at any point in time. I mentioned to you on the phone and via email I live far away and needed to handle this job remotely. To say you're amazed by this poor experience despite never working with the company completely dismisses the experience I had trying to hire or even get a job confirmation from the company.

Lindsay and Stone Studio offered me a reasonable price for bathroom remodeling. Lindsay provided me the daily updates thru email or phone call during the work period, and the remodeling can be completed in one week after the materials were ready. I definitely want her and her team to work on my future projects.

Justin and David are the kind of people that they care about their customers. They offer excellent quality products at very reasonable prices. But their most important attribute is the customer service they provide. I would advice anyone who is thinking about remodeling or building a new kitchen to go to Stone Studio. Thank you.

We recently hired Stone Studio to install a new kitchen sink and granite countertops. We were disappointed in the workmanship as well as customer service. A turn-key job that should have taken half a day stretched out to three weeks, causing us great inconvenience. Here are the major issues: 1) The measuring and/or cutting for the kitchen desktop was off (too long). Instead of having the slab trimmed, the installers forced it into place & punched a long hole through the wall's sheetrock. Stone Studio resolved this by providing a granite backsplash around the desktop to hide the hole. 2) The strip of granite between the wall and the hole for the sink is too narrow. We had expressed concern about this when selecting our sink & were assured by David (co-owner) that the sink we were considering would fit with absolutely no problem. On the day of installation, however, the countertops were installed without any faucet holes cut. When asked about this, the installer said, “they weren’t sure it would fit.” Justin Miller (co-owner) came out and, by bending the integrated supply line and using extra parts we bought at Home Depot, was able to install the faucet. The bottom back of the faucet base is flush with the backsplash (you can’t slide a piece of paper behind it), not desirable but functioning. Having researched faucet measurements online, it is clear that we will have extreme difficulty finding another faucet, single hole or otherwise, that will fit when this one needs to be replaced. We were told that Stone Studio considers this a successful installation. 3) After installation a crack was discovered in the new sink. It is not Stone Studio's procedure to open & visually inspect a sink prior to installation. It took about 45 minutes to contact David (co-owner), at which point he said he would try to find another sink the next day. Late the next day, a Thursday, we received an email saying one would have to be ordered. A full week after the initial installation, they finally had a new sink to install. If we hadn’t done the plumbing ourselves we would have had to pay plumbers for multiple trips. Instead we had to install, remove and reinstall the faucet on our own time to make our kitchen functional. 4) The overhang on the counter side with kitchen stools is longer than the Stone Studio contract (and online resources) recommend without bracket. We were told that if brackets would be needed, they would let us know after measuring was done so we could choose to have them installed before the new countertop was attached. We were not told that they would be needed, as the overhang was intended to be within guidelines - but it was measured/cut incorrectly. Justin (co-owner) said that it was close enough & will probably be fine with normal use; no remedy was made. We had to buy and install brackets to ensure the overhang doesn’t break off. We were counting on Stone Studio to know their business to avoid problems to begin with. When we asked questions, they said there shouldn’t be a problem. When problems arose, they said they hadn’t ever seen them before and showed no concern about the inconvenience caused. In fact, it was only as the final payment came due on the last day of the job that either owner apologized for "any inconveniences" or "hiccups" that had occurred. Do we finally have a nice-looking, functioning countertop? Yes. Was it a drawn-out struggle to get there? Absolutely, yes. Were they looking out for us? We believe no. This is why we cannot in good conscience recommend Stone Studio.
