  Custom Floor Solutions handled the remodel of our master bathroom. They were great to work with from the initial design through completion. We were very happy with the results. Top notch work and fair pricing. Will definitely be using them for future projects.

  We remolded our master bath and called Custom Floor Solutions to get some ideas and pricing to do the shower. We spoke to Ben and he came out to look at what we wanted to do. We hired him to build us a mud pan, water proof the walls and tile the whole thing. It turned out FANTASTIC we couldn’t be happier!!! If your looking for a dependable company with fair prices and no hidden cost, look no further. Call Custom Floor Solutions!!!!

  Unethical company and poor workmanship to boot! To make a long story short, I'll give the bullet points from horrifying to awful, of our atrocious experience with Custom Floor Solutions. * They tried to cover-up damage - two of our kitchen cabinets were damaged during the demolition of the old hardwoods, they cracked one of our kitchen cabinets and left holes (from the crowbar while ripping up the old hardwoods) in yet another part of the kitchen cabinets.  The crack they tried to cover up with a toe-kick board, even though the damage was on an outside edge of the cabinet, where toe-kicks shouldn't be.  The holes they used wood filler and a mismatched shade of stain.  They NEVER mentioned the damage until two days later when I asked why the cabinet was now two-toned with a toe-kick board....Afterwards the ONLY solution that gave was putting on a "skin" - which they couldn't get an accurate stain match for and that also didn't have the grain marks in the wood that the rest of the kitchen had, so the skin would have looked completely out of place. * Missing boxes of extra wood - we were fortunate that we were able to stay nearby while the work was being done, so we stopped by often to see how the progress was going.  On the last day, after all the wood had been laid, including the extra/scrap wood that would be cut for edges, there were 9 boxes of unopened wood.  Before leaving I wrote a quick email to Ben to ask that the extra wood be left behind, because we planned to do the master bedroom at some point, and hey, we had already paid for it, so it was ours anyways.  When we got home at the end of that day, there were only 2 boxes left behind and a few pieces of scrap....where did the other 7 boxes go??  My father has been in construction for 40 years, I asked him and sent him the pictures of the wood laid out, again including all the trim pieces for the edges, if it was plausible that they would go through 7 more boxes and he said they would have had to split every piece of trim work they were doing.  So either really poor workmanship, or really unscrupulous ethics and pocket padding by using the wood elsewhere (and probably still charging the person full price on that side too), or selling it back to the wholesaler and not reimbursing us for it but instead keeping that extra money for themselves.....either way - you don't want this company working in your home. * They charged $900 for moving a handful of pieces of furniture, but still made us move the small parts AND even though I had asked that they use furniture pads to protect two custom made tables and Ben had said they would - they did not even bother to do that.  Not to mention, that the pieces they did move, such as our sectional couch were piled up on top of themselves stretching the fabric on the back.  Which wouldn't be a problem if the sectional backed up to a wall, but in our case all the back is exposed because it is in an open-style great room.  So now we have ripples in the back of our couch fabric. * They left our deck a complete mess - they had set up the power tools for trimming the wood on our deck/patio and didn't bother to clean up after, every crack in our deck had sawdust and large chips of wood cemented inside, much of our paint was chipped off the deck also. * They were extremely sloppy when going around the molding.  Much of our molding was left with jagged edges - another testament to poor workmanship.  This would be easy to sand, caulk and make right, but they just left huge gaps between the molding and the floor, and jagged edges to boot! I wish I had been more suspicious when there were no reviews on Google for this company and when I couldn't even find them listed with the Better Business Bureau.  Beware!  Don't use this company - there are TONS of other flooring options - and ones with great reviews too!  Pick one of those!
