  Noe is an awesome person, knowledgeable, courteous, patient and great conversation.He explains everything in detail,offered the solution to the problem,told me about financing options and just displayed exceptional customer service! I love meeting people like that! He's got to be an asset to the team of Michael and Sons!

  Cody and Luke(Princess) came out to give us an estimate to replace our heater. They were very nice and presented us all the information bwe needed to make a decision. They were priced fairly and one of their options came with a 6 year warranty. The cost was probably tied into the price but the other places we looked at didn't have it tied in and they would have been $700 more expensive than Michael and Son to add in the warranty. Michael and Son offered to work the day we had their consultation but we needed time to review. They could have came back sooner but we chose a week later. They came in and without any issues installed out tank. Ours is in an attic so it wasn't easy byo get it up there but they made it look less difficult than it probably was. It took about 5 hours to complete. Cody and Luke were great to work with. They let me watch them install it. I trusted them but I am one of those people that likes to see how things work or what is done to fix them. I do the same thing at the garage when I take the car in. I asked them many questions while they were working and they were kind enough to answer them for me. They never once seemed irritated that I was taking to them while they were working either. We even got to know each other a bit during this time. We signed a service package with them as well. The main reason we were comfortable doing so was due to Cody and Luke(Princess). I would highly recommend them. I have permission from Luke to put princess on here. Inside joke I was pulled into.

  Second time using Michael & Son for air conditioning maintenance. I was very impressed with Mark and his knowledge concernIng my air-conditioning systems. It was refreshing to meet a technician who was happy to work while I watched. He explained all the steps he was taking and explained why. Mark was very professional and courteous. As was the other technician who checked out my plumbing. This is a good company that has a very professional and trustworthy culture about them. I will continue to use them for my plumbing and HVAC needs.

  I called Saturday morning and they were able to get someone out that same afternoon. Brandon arrived on time to install my outdoor ceiling fan. He was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Went out of his way to explain services and membership available. Will definitely use this company again.

  Update as of 3/31/26 - I spoke with Garrison at Michale&Son, and we are to split the cost. Very nice chat with Garrison. He also offered to replace the screws with matching screws, but I declined. Original post: The young man who performed the service was friendly but inexperienced. He was here for an annual checkup, but ended up having to replace an electrical component. The AC was working two weeks ago when we had our brief heat wave, and the thermostat was working when we switched it as from “heat” to “cool.” (That’s a whole other review) , but shortly after he removed the panels from the unit, we lost power at the thermostat. The technician seemed at a loss how to debug the power loss, and he called a more senior technician who walked him through some troubleshooting over the phone. Pinpointed the problem to a bare low voltage wire which shorted against the metal frame. That in turn caused a “connector” to short out, which cost $443 to replace. Our guy didn’t have the part on his truck, so he called the more senior tech, who brought over the correct part. Michael & Son insisted that the part must have gone bad sometime between the heat wave and their removal of the metal panels, which doesn’t sound reasonable to me. I asked the young technician for a breakdown between parts and labor, thinking we might split the cost, and he told me he makes $20/hour, which is somewhat useless information to me. In the end I paid the bill, but my free annual maintenance ended up taking 2.5 hours and costing $440. He also couldn’t find several of the screws which hold the panels to the unit and ended up using screws from his truck that fit but do not match.
