- AMAmanda McMillanAug 30, 20192.0Had a need for a scissor lift delivered to my shop. Arrived almost dead. got 5 minutes out of it before having to have a crew sit around and wait while it charged. Had the lift swapped out 2 hours later. That lift also arrived dead. Had it swapped out again. The last lift i maybe got 45 minutes out of before it died too. At this rate, my cost to have two crews stand around waiting for a lift to charge outweighs the cost for the lift itself. Meanwhile, i was told my rep would be able to respond to emails and voicemails while he was away. I did not receive any responses from him until i let him know a third lift was also bad. I cannot foresee using United Rentals ever again. *UPDATE* Joe Miller, the brand manager from GSO store i rented from, called 9/10/19 and offered a refund and apologized profusely for poor service. He was very kind and calm and understanding. His call and refund rectified a lot.
