Plumbing company review. Master Plumbers Heating & Cooling Greensboro
Worst experience ever –Oct. 2025. BE WARNED, STAY AWAY!
Corporate-owned entity (Leap Partners, Nashville), sold 3.2025, by the original owner, now operations lead.
Needing attention to a burst pipe while off on vacation led to this awful company. The horror show included 1) astounding/unnecessary high billing costs; 2) most expensive repair techniques employed - corroborated by several seasoned plumbers & city inspector; 3) young, lesser experienced technical teams; 4) dangerous building code violation (inspector verified); 5) ‘creative’ billing; 6) complaint lodged with the CEO, corporate office, following bullying & claims of expertise by the operations lead; 7) corporate-generated apology letter which included, amongst other issues, the recognizing of poor leadership, poor customer relations interface and building code lapse; 8) a meagre refund (less than 10%) for the discourteous experience; 9) An unappreciated, unsolicited preventive project plan at a crazy proposed cost of $75000 (total bunk); & 10) an itemized receipt received only after multiple requests.
The technician teams were courteous and clean. Their inexperience demonstrated re: code lapse and adjustment failures of the pressure reducing valve (required subsequent plumber attention). The company even added another trip fee for the return visit despite their failures of workmanship and knowledge!
Charge of $3750, over twice what it should have been.
A corporate apology letter was acknowledged. Nevertheless, we feel compelled to provide fair warning to potential customers. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!
Believe this review, not the excuses undoubtedly to be offered. Even a signature attesting to satisfactory work done was never provided at the ‘completion’ of the job. Rather, it was electronically embedded into the No such signature was ever provided.
Our present plumber, independent, is a gem. No trip fees. No truck fees. Just plain honest. Do your research before you are in need.

Stay clear of these clowns. So disappointing. Overpriced and sub-standard labor. Cancelling membership because 50% of their ‘repairs’ didn’t last a week. My wife and daughter repaired in 25min a sink pop-up after their guy wouldn’t touch it (even though he installed it himself two days earlier) because it was ‘customer-supplied.’ Didn’t stand by his own labor. Brand new faucet installed in second bathroom was found leaking two weeks later (now with cabinet damage so obviously leaking much earlier - probably at install). Guy didn’t have supply line with him, wants to come back with it on Monday (if we supply new faucet) and reinstall for a measly $800! Again not standing by their labor.

I recently had some concerns about a costly situation that was unpredictable, with what started out as frustrating and not ideal ended with communication that had the final outcome agreeable. The technician that came out for service to the home was knowledgeable, thorough and showed expertise. After conversing with Lee, I appreciate the company ultimately to make things right and I am satisfied how the situation was resolved.

Shame on me paid $1,000.00 to clean our sewer line from front of house clean out to main line in road (about 25 ft)
Talked to another company after the fact and was quoted about $350.00 for job .We just moved here 2 days before and in a panic no toilets or sinks draining.Save your money hire another company.
^^ I was called by Lee who I guess is either owner or manager of this business and was criticized for posting a 1 star review, who told me the amount was justified because they have pleasant people who answer phones, people show up when told for service calls, and lots of money to stock trucks with tools and parts. (This went on for 10 minutes) Do you really want to do business with this type of business?

Came to the house and I took the guy to the leaking pipe. Started by telling me I had a pressure regulator and a valve that should be replaced but never addressed how to repair the leaking pipe. The next step was to go to his truck and prepare a proposal to supposedly solve my problem while still not making any effort to address the leaking pipe. His proposal was for over $4000.00 and still he hasn't begun to see about fixing the pipe. Total Dog And Pony Show!!!! Charged me $300.00 for the show. I won't ever be stupid enough to call these people again and if anyone reading this does, Shame on you and you have no one to blame but yourself.
