I booked an appointment via text and they gave me a different appointment with no explaining. Then the technician came and couldn’t do the maintenance because he said my generator was listed on the ground floor level but it’s on the 3rd floor level. You would think the notes would be correct since they installed my generator on the 3rd floor. I have had no response since the technician left.

I have a neighbor that recommended these people and my sales person said he would list my neighbor as the referral for me, there is a 500 dollar referral bonus. During the process I spoke with my sales representative and the woman at the office about ensuring he was listed as the referral. They confirmed multiple times that they would ensure he got the referral bonus. After the job was done they completely dropped the conversation and never completed the bonus. Either they are dishonest or just do not care. Either path you take, I will not be recommending this company. My parents are currently getting ready to buy their own home and wanted to install a generac through this company but now they will be going to any one other than this company. Really a let down since they seemed so nice and honest but I guess thats just sales.

I'm owed a $500 referral fee and yet 2 months (actually 3 months when I gave them the referral), still nothing. Beginning to think it's a scam. No one to call and seek help. They only want you to call Sales and Service. I don't know if I could recommend again given the inability to get ahold of anyone.

I've had my generator for 6 years now and I know with Canter taking care of the maintenance I never have to worry that I won't have power when I need it. Today Dylan Brooks, their technician, came to do the annual inspection. He was pleasant, let me know he was here, and then got straight to work. He spent about an hour checking and testing everything and let me know that it was all in good shape. The annual fee may seem a bit pricey to some, but it's in line with other companies and when you consider the investment you make to install a generator it only makes sense to make sure that it's well taken care of. I consider my Generac Generator and Canter's service one of the best investments I've made in my home.
