  The houses are practically made of paper mache. I’ve been moved in for two months and have had to contact the warranty company to come out every week to fix something new (my front and back door handles were falling off, my garage had a huge dent, I’ve outstanding blue tape items I need fixed, the carpet is coming up because it wasn’t stapled down, the walls and light fixtures and crooked and not flush) If the workers weren’t getting drunk off coronas (every time I’d come to view the house in the framing stage I’d find coronas in the walls and on the bathtub and in the shower) I’m sure the houses would have come together a lot better. It’s honestly ridiculous that I’m still having to beg the warranty people to come and fix BLUE TAPE items that should have been fixed before closing. The house is falling apart at the seams which is ridiculous considering they’re asking 300k for “custom” homes we can’t even customize. Overall a huge rip off and waste of my money and time. Save your money and shop elsewhere. Extremely disheartened that I didn’t do more research before choosing them as my first home. In all honesty, you’d probably be better off building your house by hand- yourself…

  This review is for Krysten who is the shining star of DRB. We were looking for a home and Krysten went out of her way to show us multiple options. Although we ultimately decided to go with another builder, mostly due to location and the opportunity to have a more private backyard space, the customer service from Krysten was unparalleled. She was super responsive to all of our questions even on the weekend. The Essex Village area looks to become a quaint little neighborhood. If you are in the market for a home in Franklinton, definitely work with Krysten!
