  Closed on our new built home June 2024, build by Dan Ryan Builders. LVP began chipping and peeling where the plank connects within 13 months of living in the home. Riterug only offers 1 year warranty and has denied repairs or replacing due to a long list of things to not do. My home is well maintenance, groomed, and never live with any pets. I have live in apartments, rental homes, and also have bought a couple of homes myself and NEVER HAD AN ISSUE with any of the flooring. All throughout the home the LVP is bouncy and lifting. Considering taking out a 30 year mortgage on a new built home and face to rip all the LVP flooring up due to poor installation. No way this is the same or better material that they are placing in apartments or new homes. Had a company to consult the flooring and to my luck the owner was a ex employee of Riterug and did not suggest going back with any flooring from Riterug and to consider Lowe’s or Home Depot for better quality flooring. As a wife and mother living in our family home I’m noticeably irritated, very disappointed, unsatisfied, and angry home buyer. Having to replace flooring in a new built that's less than 2 years old is unacceptable! I’m a dental clinical professional and hate to say but pulling teeth is easier than the contractor or Dan Ryan Builders taking accountability for what’s happening in our BRAND NEW HOME! Add

  If you are looking to buy a home your search needs to start with the letters D-R- and B! This builder has made our home-buying experience beyond what we had ever imagined it to be. From the moment we entered the Main Office, we were greeted by Kat M. She was friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating and listened to our every request. She showed us our home, the one to which we compared all others to along our home search. When we decided to enter into the process we were recommended a finance team and a law firm that also far exceeded our expectations. Everyone at DRB kept in constant contact throughout each step, to ensure we were receiving the care and attention we needed. Shane M. was in charge of the construction technicalities of our home building and he should be receiving 5 stars five times over if we were able to do so! I look forward to the interactions we have with Shane and his team because I know that his work ethic upholds the values of the company he is representing. DRB strives for excellence in everything they put their name on. THIS is the company you want to make their homes YOUR home! Thank you to everyone at DRB Homes..I can not speak highly enough about what you do to bring the dream of home buying to every client's life you touch.

  I have a home under construction with DRHomes I have had fights with sales and design center but mostly rude folks in regional office when they decided to communicate with me i was given ultimatum. The sales agent has done all that she can to assist me. As a builder They are quick to say no changes but do not want to own up to the mistakes they made during construction. They change floor plan designs to equate for their mistakes. Your home will never be exactly like the model you fell in love with. I Am concerned about the quality, the energy efficiency and of course they are months behind schedule. They are Not forth coming and lean toward untruthfulness. So You have to stay on them throughout the build process so that they make the corrections as they build. Buyers beware that this is a production builder and they aren't flexible on changes and don't have the best selections or a many options too choose from like other tract builders.   DRB does business with CPI. CPI Security was responsible for mounting televisions for us. They did not follow through as of yet and will take your money and then forget about doing business correctly. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH CPI. AGAIN, DAN RYAN BUILDERS SET THIS UP AT THEIR DESIGN MEETING AND NOW NOT TAKING ANY RESPONSIBILITY IS POOR BUSINESS! UPDATE: CPI LEAD THE ASSIST WHEN CUSTOMER SERVICE REACHED OUT TO CORRECT THE ERRORS. VERY IMPRESSED WITH THEIR IMMEDIATE RESPONSE IN MAKING CORRECTIONS. WE ARE NOW HAPPY WITH THE MOUNTS. DAN RYAN BUILDERS ASSISTED IN THE FIX. A Year Later: Updated October 6, 2018 If you are A FIRST TIME HOME BUYER AND BUILDING A HOME...Run The Other Way!!!! We wanted this to be our Forever Home, but due to lack of communication (and I'm a very detail oriented person) maybe finding a company that will listen in addition to selling you your dream home and also ask you clarifying questions is best. Sometimes you don't know what you don't know and then you find out it is too late to make structural changes is truly disappointing. Don't get me wrong, we love the area in which we live and the project manager and sales representative was nice, but I did not know about a few things that we definitely wanted in our home but did not get due to lack of communication at the right time. We had a year of service and a guarantee on our Dan Ryan home for any problems. The Dan Ryan guy "Gary" that actually came out to oversee and schedule the folks to complete the work was poor at scheduling, returning our calls and tried to cover up errors and not just fix them. The people at the office were very response and prompt. My husband was very hyper focused on what Gary instructed the laborers to do and had to get them to actually fix and not just cover up the errors.We thought this would be our forever home, but may have to look again in a few years or update all of the things that we really wanted in our home and did not get. So, my only suggestion in the update is you have to truly advocate for one of your biggest investments and continue to research and not be afraid to ask as Dan Ryan Builders will go with the least and not put the customer's needs first. Wish I could have something better to say a year later. :(
