  These guys are literally the best. Woke up this morning to no heat in my house and my unit not responding to any thermostat calls for heat. I called the emergency number and thankfully, they were able to send Ramsey out to fix it and have my heat back up by early afternoon. Ramsey was great. Professional, respectful, and happily answered any questions I had while completing the job. The lady who answered my phone call to schedule was awesome as well. So sweet and helpful with getting a tech to come out, especially when the weather was calling for snow later that day. I wish I remembered her name, so that I can give her a shout out too.This is the 2nd time I've had to use emergency services during the winter, and both times, Carolina Comfort Air was able to send someone out the same day and resolve the problem.

  Aimee and Kaylan had been superb in helping me with an issue - customer service was top notch and they were attentive and pro active in finding a resolution. Very appreciative of their work ethic and my experience with both ladies. I have sued this company for almost 10 years! Highly recommend both of these two ladies!

  Amazing service. I called them because I needed someone to take a look at our heat pump that was having issue and they were able to fit me in last minute for the next day. After they stopped by they called me to let me know what they did, what was wrong and what they recommend I do next. Then they sent me the information via email, very professional and contacted me through the whole process. Very satisfied with their service and will continue to use them.

  In July of last year after obtaining 6 quotes from HVAC companies, we decided to use Carolina Comfort Air, who had recently acquired Joyner and Dickens in Sanford. CCA was not the cheapest or most expensive, falling in the middle. The sales representative was a strong reason for using CCA. Unfortunately, the installation was not smooth, requiring a substantial amount of effort on our part. I will add this was a change of location from where the existing system sat but things like, the new return in the ceiling was not centered, asking us to relocate plumbing then in the end that was not needed, there seemed to be a gap between who designed the system and the understanding of the installation team. Barely 5 months later the brand new Trane system started to emit a sound, where 3 teams of technicians came out, each contradicting what the last said, eventually settling on the idea that the brand new NEST thermostat had failed, but that was after the first 2 teams said it was not the thermostat. I still have not received the manuals required to register the system. In addition, I have contacted Duke Energy twice for our rebate, only to be informed the 1st time that CCA incorrectly filled out the form, and Now in Jan 2026 that CCA has failed to resubmit the form after I was ensured this would be corrected in November. The back office struggles to respond to customers. Essentially I now have spent 15k + the costs of other subcontractors, on a system that I am not confident in and have not received the benefit of the rebate to reduce the costs.
