  Let me first start by saying I have used Hall’s several times in the past and therefore should have been treated as an existing client. When I arrived at the showroom, I was pointed only to the Karastan section and told to look around. The selection of samples is definitely picked over and in some cases I was shown other color ways on a computer bc they didn’t have all the options in house. When asked why there weren’t more samples to take home I was told its because some customers don’t return the samples. And then I was allowed to take some samples home without leaving my name or credit card (which I’m guessing is why people don’t return them). I asked to have my rooms measured and was told they didn’t do that until a selection was made. I called back the next day with a selection and was told the measurer was out of the office that day and would call me the next day. No one called the next day. I called the following day and was told they would give him my number. When I expressed my concern over timing as we were getting ready to move jn to a new home, she couldn’t give me an estimated install date. I was then told they no longer wanted to work with me because they couldn’t meet my expectations. After we hung up, I called another vendor. They came the next day to measure and brought samples, carpet was ordered and is being installed in10 days. Halls lost a customer and a rather large install. I will never use them again.

  I came into Halls last Monday to find carpet for a stair runner. I was immediately directed to the clearance/outlet section and actually found one I loved. There wasn’t much left on the role that I found, so I wanted to move quickly and get an estimate. The gentleman I spoke with told me the person who handles estimates in my area wasn’t in that day, but he took my information and assured me I would receive a call the following day (Tuesday) to schedule. By Friday, I still hadn’t heard from anyone, so I called to follow up. The person I spoke with said the person I needed to speak with was busy and would likely be busy the rest of the day, so she forwarded me to his voicemail and assured me he would call me back no later than Monday. It is now Monday night, and I still have not received a call. I made it very clear I wanted to move quickly due to limited inventory, and the complete lack of follow-up is extremely frustrating. At this point, they have lost my business.

  Sales rep not helpful - Pushed me towards Karastan carpeting (they were running a special at the time) and not helpful in looking for hardwood flooring as I was trying to decide between the two. I told the sales rep what type/style of hardwood flooring I was looking for and he just pointed to the hardwood selections for me to search through. After looking at some of the options on display, I was able to find exactly what looking for by doing a little research in my own. I did not purchase from Hall’s even though they carried the same product.

  I have always received top-notch customer service from Hall's Flooring both in sales and installation and chose them for vinyl flooring for an upcoming kitchen renovation because (1) positive experience in previous jobs and (2) they had the better price compared to out of town dealers. When I stopped by their showroom last Monday, I was prepared to place another order for the same flooring ( had already confirmed it was still available). But salesman said he would call Karastan to check on availability and get back with me Monday afternoon. (whatever, but ok) Heard nothing from him for four days. Sent email on Wednesday and when I had heard nothing by Friday morning, I tried to call him ( unsuccessfully) so I just gave up. By the time he finally replied to my email Friday afternoon letting me know flooring was available, I had already reached out to one of the out of town dealers who was most helpful in providing a quote and I closed the sale by phone within a hour. A simple transaction! I paid a little more but at least I felt they valued my business. Would I do business with Hall's Flooring again? Probably not.
