I had Renuity to come out on the 5th to coat my basement floor with the understanding that it was a one-day job. I had all furniture removed and stored on my covered back porch. Everything looked as it was going as planned and then I was informed they could not complete the job because they had issues and ran out of supplies. I was told they would come back on Wednesday and complete the job. The work was about halfway completed. One employee came back and finished the basement, and payment was made in full. The work was unable to be inspected because you are unable to walk on floor after completed. I was informed if there was a problem to call and it would be resolved. Two days later I inspected the work and found several issues. Issues include sharp flakes exposed from not be scraped properly, a dip in the coating about 7 inches long and two inches wide that wasn't sealed properly (loose flakes), edges around the wall have loose flakes from not being sealed properly, residue and flakes on walls and windows and other areas not cleaned after work was completed, and holes were left on back porch from the spiked shoes they wear on the floor while working. It is now the 21st and no one has reached out to resolve these issues. I have reached out twice by phone to be told someone would contact me. It has not happened. Contacted the salesman and informed him and now I am waiting on a response. It is a bad feeling to pay half up front and half when work is completed only to be ignored. Furniture is still outside waiting to be brought in. I am still hoping this work will be completed properly. If there is a problem later, I dread going thru this again due to having a lifetime warranty. My recommendation is not to make final payment until work is completed to your satisfaction. An employee should look over the work with the customer before EXPECTING the final payment. In regard to Renuity responding to this comment, how about calling me so we can resolve this issue. I am attempting to attach pictures but am having difficulties with doing so. Pictures have been sent to company showing work and still no response. I will post updates later.

We hired Renuity to coat our garage floor. The quote was 5,000.00 and we paid a 500.00 deposit. The schedule after we confirmed we wanted to proceed was a month out. We moved our entire garage out to the driveway under a tent the night before. The morning we were scheduled for the service two guys came out to buff the garage floor. They worked for one hour and left. You can see from the photo the floor was pretty well ground and buffed out. However the two guys acted like we had an oil spill and would need to come back the next day. Which was a complete lie. No one showed over the next two days. We had to move everything back in the garage and fired this company. We are out the 500.00 deposit. Buyer beware. They have called continuously to try and get us back on the schedule. But I’m sorry 5,000 is a lot of money to pay a company that isn’t prompt or professional. Take your business elsewhere.

Review: Renuity Home of Charlotte - Garage Floor and Porch Coating Service Overview I am writing this review reluctantly, as I had hoped Renuity Home of Charlotte would address the issues with my service experience promptly. Unfortunately, I received substandard workmanship and encountered unprofessional behavior from their technician. Service Requested • Garage floor and front porch coating installation Issues Encountered Initial Scheduling Problems On the morning of my scheduled appointment (8:00-9:00 AM window), the technician called at 7:25 AM requesting to reschedule due to a 35% chance of rain. When I checked the weather forecast, it showed only a 5% chance of rain, with higher percentages on subsequent days. We explained that we had already: • Rented a U-Haul to move items (financial commitment) • Taken time off work • Arranged our schedule around this appointment The technician was reluctant to proceed and could not confirm whether the company had contingency plans for weather-related issues. At his suggestion, I purchased tarps from Lowe's at 8:00 AM as a precautionary measure. Service Quality Issues Despite the technician's initial reluctance, work commenced. However, the quality was subpar: • Garage floor coating application was uneven with visible clumps • Flakes were not properly smoothed out • Final result showed poor attention to detail Unprofessional Communication During the lunch break, when the rain probability increased to 20%, I texted the technician asking about covering the porch with tarps. His phone response was highly unprofessional: • Blamed me for "rushing" the project • Claimed the situation was only an inconvenience to him • Used a disrespectful tone and made accusations • Stated he "knew he shouldn't have come out" and that "I am not going back and forth with you" • Refused to continue the conversation professionally When I addressed his unprofessional tone, he became more confrontational and threatened to call his manager. I informed him that he would not be welcome back at my property if he continued speaking disrespectfully. Management Response My boyfriend contacted the manager to report the technician's unprofessional behavior and request that the technician no longer communicate directly with me. The manager instructed the technician to communicate only through him going forward. Final Work Quality After the technician resumed work (following an hour of apparent frustration in his truck), the completed project was unacceptable: • Poor surface preparation and finishing • Coating drips on porch areas and bricks where none should be present • Overall sloppy workmanship • Uneven application throughout Additional Issues Upon departure, the electrical breaker to my front porch, garage, and front of the house was turned off, either intentionally or accidentally, without notification. This appeared to be a final act of unprofessionalism. Quality Comparison A comparison with my neighbor's garage (also completed by this company) revealed significantly better workmanship, confirming that the quality of work I received was below their typical standards. Follow-up Service Despite sending photos documenting the poor workmanship and making multiple calls to management, it has been nearly a week with no concrete action plan. I have only received vague promises that "someone will look into this" and "someone will come back out," but no specific scheduling or resolution timeline has been provided. Conclusion For the significant cost of this service, I expected professional behavior and quality workmanship. Unfortunately, neither was delivered. The combination of unprofessional conduct, poor communication, substandard work quality, and inadequate follow-up service makes it impossible for me to recommend Renuity Home of Charlotte to others. I hope this review serves as constructive feedback for the company to improve their service standards and technician training programs.
