Just had One-Hour come to do my first check and clean of my new heat pump system. This was part of their comfort club service. Shaun Klouse was the technician. I didn’t know what to expect. I figured they would come in, change the filters and head on their way. Boy was I wrong. Shaun showed up on time, explained what he would be doing. He did a inspection of the entire system and made sure that everything was running according to specs. I was very impressed. Oh yeah, he changed the filters too!

Eric S. was able to figure out and fix a problem with my heat that two other technicians from a different company were unable to solve. He listened to my concerns and was incredibly professional and patient. Thank you, Eric, for getting my heat back on just in time for Christmas!

Very poor service and unprofessional. The technician sent to do service ,I think named danny was wearing his dirty shoes across my whole home on carpet and didn’t removed them even after asking him politely. Left behind all the mess that came out from dryer vent in my backyard without evening cleaning that . Have to spend additional money now for carpet cleaning and backyard. Definitely will not recommend their service to anyone .

My wife and I lost heat the week before Christmas. Our blower motor failed after 2 years. Noah not only had excellent customer service and communication…but also expert skills to educate me and complete the job.
I was in talks with another CLT company for the same repair and after dealing with their sub par service, I reached out to One Hour to see if they wanted to take my business.
I can’t speak for all One Hour techs, but Noah needs a little extra on his Christmas bonus for the solid work.

STAY AWAY!
I had One Hour come out to diagnose an issue I was having with my Furnace. I had done some testing and identified the issue, but my knowledge and troubleshooting had ran it's course. I have an 8 year old furnace in a house I bought a couple months ago. There was no concern or issues with it at the time of inspection. It was working fine for a few weeks and then just stopped working. I had One Hour come out and after MANY hours, the only solution they could come up with is that my Duct Work needed cleaned. I was assured this would be the solution to my issue. I had another company come out and do the work for SIGNIFICANTLY CHEAPER. Upon putting my furnace back together and coming up with no answers, the technician broke my motherboard and thus my furnace now truly did not work.
This left me on the day after Thanksgiving with my In-Laws staying at my house with NO heat whatsoever. This was on a Friday and after I asked what he was going to do about this... He shrugged and said "You are basically out of luck as our parts guy is off and it is Friday night". He said the part could take a month to come in. I asked what he was going to do about the fact that my furnace WAS working just not well and now it won't work at all. It was also the coldest it has been in a long time in NC with my house being at 50 degrees. He said that he is just simply the technician and there is nothing he can do. He then left after taking my money...
Monday rolls around and they call me to tell me that they will not reach out to Management as I wanted an assurance that they will cover any costs like burst pipes etc. They said "We will deal with it if it happens". They also told me that they will give me space heaters for the time being. LITTLE LATE! Luckily they had the part and he "fixed" my furnace. Too bad it was not working still and he could not figure out why. I am SO glad that I did not go with the "100% fix" that was offered for the low low price of $1500. I asked what he would have done if I had paid that and it still didn't work. Well he said then he would recommend we replace the whole system... hilarious how that works.
Manager had to be called in and I knew he would have the same issue because it doesn't seem like anyone knows what they are doing. He came to the same BS conclusion that I needed to replace the whole system or get CUSTOM duct work for a system that has had 0 issues for 8 years. Makes sense.
After telling them to just get my furnace back to working condition. Come to find out that the guy who installed my motherboard after breaking it... didn't install it properly, so my nest was erroring out. He tried to leave it like that, but I told him there was an error which he 100% knew about and was trying desperately to leave without fixing it. After me telling them what the error was and what google says to fix it... They got it to work.
In the end, they insisted I sign a waiver saying I won't use the furnace as they could not figure out the issue and it could cause dangerous gas to come into my house?? Again, 0 issues with the furnace over the course of 8 years and it worked fine for me the last month or so.
Summary:
DO NOT USE THEM. They are scam artists that just charge astronomical pricing and then when that ultimately isn't the fix... They squeeze you for more money. Not only that, they are careless with 0 remorse when they cause MORE damage to your appliances. I was told that I am visibly upset (NO DUH) and that there is nothing he can do for me until they can procure the part. Funny enough, he claimed the part was super expensive. I told him to give me the part number... Found it for $100. Just straight scammers that don't care about customer service AT ALL. He conned me into signing up for the year long service agreement, which has a cancelation fee before the year.
