Excellent service today. Dimitri was able to find and fix a gas leak that we had been trying to get fixed for months. Everything was reviewed with us after the service including videos and pictures. We had had two other technicians out and the gas company that had not been able to/cared enough to find the very obvious leak near the on/off valve. Thank you so much Dimitri!

Horne Heating and Air Conditioning did an outstanding job replacing my furnace and HVAC system. Theo and Rubin were the technicians on the job, and they were absolutely top-notch. They showed up on time, were extremely professional, and walked me through everything they were doing. The installation was clean, efficient, and done with real attention to detail. Theo Rubin went above and beyond to make sure everything was set up perfectly and that I understood how the new system works. You can tell they take pride in their work and genuinely care about the customer. Highly recommend Horne Heating and Air for anyone needing HVAC service or installation. Excellent experience from start to finish!

During regular maintenance performed on my heating system, Chad picked up on a problem with my blower motor spiking in amps. He had the part to be replaced on his truck and quickly installed. Chad found another issue, showed photos of that and discussed options to remedy the situation. I decided to look further into the issue. I was not pressured into anything. I think Chad is very knowledgeable on hvac systems and all round very friendly guy.

While visiting daughter's house, her two-zone system began sending heat from the first floor zone, to the second floor zone. Hence it was chilly downstairs, and roasting upstairs. I was pretty sure the motor (actuator) that controls the dampers within the duct system was the problem. The attic ductwork is accessed via a tight opening in the ceiling and I wasn't sure where the motors were within the system, so I called for the $90 diagnostic visit. The technician was very professional and arrived just a few hours later, which was amazing. I told him what I thought the problem was and it didn't take him long to confirm my suspicion. He got on his iPad and gave me a price of $1,336 to replace both actuators ($668 each - no discount because they are within 5 feet of each other and it's a super simple procedure.) I asked how much of the total was parts and he wouldn't say, merely stating "um, not a large portion of it." Fortunately, I had already enrolled in YouTube University and I knew that the swap is incredibly easy - disconnect two wires (24 volt Cat 5 wire), loosen a set screw, and pop the new one on. The hardest part was maneuvering around on the attic rafters to get to them. I ordered replacements on Amazon, and installed both within 15 minutes. The total cost of the parts was $135. I appreciate the speedy response time of the technician arrival, and would probably call them again if I ever have a need to diagnose a problem. I understand it costs money to keep a van on the road, and pay the technician salary, plus commission, but I am glad I was able to save my daughter and her husband $1,200 for 15 minutes of work!

Matt Myers and Jason P. were great. I called them out for a second opinion/inspection for a potential furnace service I didn't feel comfortable with. They did a great job taking the time to explain what was wrong with the furnace and what wasn't, as the previous company claimed the furnace was all of a sudden "near condemnation" and needed to be repaired or replaced immediately. Compared photos and notes from the other company's previous reports to their inspection report and confirmed my suspicions. You can count on this company to be honest, not use scare tactics or urge unnecessary repairs. Overall satisfied with the findings from inspection and will be ready to use them when the time comes for my next service.
