A few months ago, I had an issue with a water leak in the RO filtration system. Their technician removed a part that they themselves had added during the installation and claimed the problem was fixed. However, the exact same issue happened again. This time, they said the leak was due to the water pressure in our home. I was charged a $130 service fee both times. When I questioned the charges, they offered a 10% discount—but that discount was part of their existing holiday promotion. On top of that, the promotion wasn’t applied to the service fee at all; they only applied it to the replacement part, which they said was damaged due to water pressure. In the end, I still had to pay the full $130 service fee again, with no discount or waiver, even though the issue was never properly fixed the first time.

In the second year, the cost went up even further to $202. Now, I’m dealing with a leak in the system, and for just a 30-minute service call, I was charged around $120. They also provided an estimate of $160 to replace the part and cover labor. At this point, I feel the ongoing maintenance and service costs are far higher than what was originally communicated. Given the repeated price increases and additional charges, I think it would make more sense to switch to a more budget-friendly RO system rather than continuing with these escalating expenses.
