  Classica may have been a premium home builder at one point, but they have fallen off a cliff. Their attention to detail and workmanship are very poor. The homes look nice on the cover, but once you dig deeper, you will find countless deficiencies and corners cut in all areas including HVAC, insulation, electrical, landscaping, drywall, and finishing. Expect calls and emails to be ignored at all levels of the company including those sent to Brian Hall, Jon Perdue, and David Branch. Find someone else to build your home.

  We just completed our home building experience with Classica and are very happy. After building 3 custom homes and 2 semi-custom homes in the past, this experience overall was very good. The start to finish guided selection of design, finishes and options is the best. The company as a whole seems to be very well run and is a trickle down effect from it's CEO/Owner. We have been in our home just 2 months and have had great response from the team on a few minor items needing attention. The neighborhood is well thought out and homes are consistent. As our downsized home, we feel we have a spacious yet useable home for the coming years. The team at Classica, starting with the sales ladies to the punch out guys are dedicated to making your experience with Classica positive. Thanks Classica!

  We are planning to build on our own lot with Classica but are waiting on a few things and are not in contract with them yet. However, the reps at Classica have been fantastic, answering all my questions and never once making me feel like a tire-kicker. My husband and I have visited a few of their communities and even walked through one of the homes that are under-construction - the quality is clear. We could not be more pleased. I felt compelled to leave this review now, as we are in one of the older established and historic neighborhoods. We feel strongly that the Classica design will tie in nicely to the homes around us and improve the look of the community, not take away as another reviewer has commented (and she has commented on multiple home builders...). Having considered many builders in Charlotte, Classica looks fresh while still giving the traditional Craftsman vibe so common in our neighborhood near Uptown. Bravo

  Classica Homes is helping destroy Charlotte's inner-city neighborhoods. They have met with neighborhood groups and basically ignored the needs and desires of 500 plus surrounding neighbors. Their houses are cookie-cutter designs with front-loaded garages and they belong in subdivisions, not our beautiful older neighborhoods. Because the neighborhoods have no laws or ordinances to protect them from the gross in-fill Classica is creating, Classica refused to make a concessions or work with the neighbors in any way. To prove how much they are disliked, neighborhoods where Classica builds have put yard signs up opposing Classica's in-fill. Terribly sad when Classica was given every chance to be a partner of a neighborhood and chose to become an enemy. Don't buy from these guys!

  Classica Homes continues to amaze me with their thoughtful architectural designs, as well as the level of care and professionalism in every interaction. My clients purchased a Blakeney Retreat home and are about to close. To see the process that Classica engages the purchaser (and Realtor®) in, is hands-down superior to other Charlotte home builders.
