Since 1984, we’ve helped 1000s of Charlotte Metro residents just like you to improve your water quality without breaking the bank. Our water treatment systems can help your appliances and pipes last longer, while also protecting your family with fresh, clean drinking water.
I chose Culligan for a RO system because of its reputation. I have not been disappointed. The system works great and the customer service is excellent. There were issues initially with water flow. Culligan came out a number of times and were relentless in working toward a solution. The issue was on the side of water flow into to the home and not with the Culligan equipment. I recommend the Charlotte Culligan team.

Alex did an amazing job installing my system and explaining how to maintain it. It was complicated installation involving bringing the plumbing to the outside of the house since the main water was located in my pantry. He ran the pipes in a way you couldn’t even tell they’re there and I didn’t lose any space in my pantry. Thank you, Alex.

At first glance, this water filtration company presents itself as polished, professional, and trustworthy. Unfortunately, the reality behind the scenes tells a very different story.
Once the system is installed and payment is secured, customer service becomes virtually nonexistent. Calls go unanswered, messages are ignored, and any attempt to get follow-up support feels like shouting into the void. What initially felt like a high-end service quickly turns into frustration and regret.
Even more troubling is what appears to be happening internally. Reports of how employees are treated are deeply concerning. Leadership allegedly engages in demeaning, humiliating behavior toward staff, creating a toxic and fear-driven work environment. There are also serious concerns about coercive pay practices, where employees may feel pressured or manipulated when it comes to their compensation. This kind of culture not only harms workers—it inevitably affects the quality of service customers receive.
A company that treats its employees poorly and abandons its customers after installation is not one that deserves trust. No matter how appealing the initial presentation may be, the lack of accountability and ethical standards makes this a business to approach with extreme caution.
If you’re considering a water filtration system, do your homework and look beyond the surface. In this case, what looks good on the outside may come with significant hidden costs.

I had a very disappointing experience with Culligan of Charlotte. Based on what I experienced, the company does not operate in a professional, respectful, or trustworthy way.
Upper management is terrible and treats others with no respect. The overall environment came across as hostile and deeply unprofessional, and there was a clear lack of basic courtesy in the way people were addressed. This was completely inconsistent with the “family owned” image the company presents to the public.
A business can market itself however it wants, but respect, professionalism, and integrity have to show up in how people are actually treated. That was not my experience here at all. I would not recommend this company to others.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this company has been an incredibly frustrating experience. Their customer service is unreliable at best-service calls go unanswered, follow-ups don’t happen, and you’re left feeling completely ignored once they have your business.
Their pricing is also a major issue. Costs seem to get inflated without transparency, which makes it difficult to trust anything you’re told.
The sales team is the only bright spot- they’re friendly, responsive, and do a great job in the beginning. Unfortunately, that positive experience does not reflect the company as a whole.
The biggest problem is the owner. In my experience, he comes across as dishonest and confrontational, and his approach to handling concerns is aggressive rather than helpful. It’s hard to have confidence in a company when the leadership operates this way.
I would strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere. There are far better companies out there that actually value their customers!
